Aden has certainly nailed his colours to the mast and probably added another £1m to his value! Whatever happens we can rest assured we have him without a seriously hefty bid till end of the 19/ 20 season and maybe beyond. so who is next? as I did mention a few months back we should ensure before seasons end we have at least 6 or 8 core players nailed in for the next 2 or 3 seasons.... I agree RR, I've said many times that Reid needed to take a long hard look at how personally responsible he was for our poor form last season when he missed a glut of glorious chances, including open goals and how that cost us badly needed points in that bad run. It's good to see him put that right this season - but I would urge caution in offering him too much.
Remind me , how many goals has he scored this season?, but apart from his goals his closing down and defending from the front has been phenomenal, when he plays well the team plays well.
Usually agree with most of your posts , but will have to agree to differ on this one , we've finally found his best position, agree in midfield he's not strong enough , and loses the ball too often , but further forward he can take more risks in poession and at times his first touch is immense.
They must have been trying to get Bobby to sign on. I wonder if he fancies a change of scenery? Or maybe feels he will be offered more elsewhere if he gets to 20 goals this season as seems likely.
Remember he only came good this season,if he did it over a couple of seasons then maybe but don’t walk before you walk.
