Could be wrong, but it seems to be a recent trait amongst Spurs fans that they are now exclusively part of the top 4 and somehow have taken that place from us, which has led to euphoria from you lads.
Thing is, in the seasons we've finished top 4 we've made good use of it, two CL finals and a semi-final, whereas your club haven't had a sniff at winning it, this is your best season in the competition and guess what, we're still in it in a stronger position for progress than Spurs.
Before a trophy success can be classed as history it has to be won first, and Spurs haven't been very good at that for the last half century.

For me that is a perfect example of why the handball rule in its current guise is very wrong.
That was clearly going out for a throw, players handles it, clearly ball to hand - but it stopped the ball going out, the resulting attack yeilds 2mins of sustained pressure including post being hit, when it should have been a throw to one side.

When Suarez handled for uraguay in the world cup it was wrong, ghana should have been awarded the goal as was going in.
That decsion can never be balanced up, rule is wrong

 

You can't have a rule for a case as specific as the Suarez one. Most cases won't be so clear, and I sure as **** don't trust referees with the power to award goals when the ball hasn't even crossed the line.

 

Yeah you can, if handled on line, goal awarded not pen and player sent of if deliberate, if deemed accidental yellow, gives refs bit of wiggle room

 

Agreed mate. Bit like with Clough but no one liked that bellend

 

Dont see how it could happen as things stand but really want Arsenal to win Europy.
