You have misunderstood mate. I said what "seemed" to be, as at the time I didnt see the bobble. After seeing it i admit it wasnt his fault.
Yep. As I said at the time, of the three that could realistically have been on the end of that cross, Sofiane would be a distant third choice!
It's still so tight just a few wins and we would be safe, it's infuriating. Just can't see us beating anyone with that sort of performance.
That's the thing, like you say a few wins sees us safe but I don't see us beating anyone. Can we play West Brom again?
Yep. Right now, there are still enough winnable games left for us to get the points we need. End of March will be a little bit different if we haven’t got a couple of wins. Right now though, we are the right side of the line, so I’m clinging to that. Oh and COME ON UNITED!!!
We hadn’t misunderstood, because you hadn’t said what you’ve just said. Now you’ve said it wasn’t his fault (for the first time), which is fair enough. All it takes is a deep breath
To be fair, the last 20 we created lots of chances and their keeper made some saves. We have been poor and we’re poor for the first 65/70 minutes, but IF (I know that’s a huge IF) we started like that, then I can see us winning some games. I can see us beating Newcastle and West Ham away right now.
As the pub has run out of beer, bought up everything in the Co-op and run out of that as well, it might come to that!
That's the issue though isn't it? Does anyone here really think we'll go to Newcastle and go for it? Or will MP play it safe and cautious...
If there was ever a side that deserves to go down then I'm afraid it's us! If I wasn't a Saints supporter I would gladly see Southampton go down, piss poor board, piss poor manager, playing dire football! This was a must win but no another toothless nil nil draw!
