Not really sure you can claim 5 words posted online were "full of smugness" and claim it was pathetic either. I took literally no enjoyment from his miss. I would have been overjoyed if he would have smashed that in the top corner and you lot could then have justified your claim that he should get more game time. Not sure why you seem to be really annoyed that i used what looked to be (it did indeed bobble) an awful miss to partly justify why a player hasnt shown enough to deserve a start. Very odd!
Like most on here concern been building all season but now real concern with our run in especially, I don’t know but just felt that Hodgson will keep Palace up and now unfortunately at our expense. What is about us when we play at SMS? The points we need can only come from away games now realistically speaking.
Watching a lot of the players, I sort of get the hint that there's a few unhandled ego problems in the squad with individual players thinking they're the bees knees and the prospect of relegation just means a new start at another Premier League club. A lot of them are world-class, but I can't imagine anyone queuing up for anyone in our squad in their current individual form (except Lemina who has looked utter class and given 100%). Sims is looking fresh, but Pellegrino just needs a few more weeks to strangle that creative spark out of him so he fits in with the current squad mentality of half-arsed and depressed
I’m off to Newcastle next week, where our speedier players will destroy them 0-2 up there and we will have 31 points. We will then be a few places up the table and looking forward to beating West Ham to look a little more comfortable. We should have won today, however it isn’t over so come on folks, still plenty to keep us up.
Yeah after those two games will tell us a lot. Failing to beat Newcastle would mean 0 wins from 6 against promoted clubs which would be pretty damning. It ain't over till it's over, it's just looking more likely.
How can you admit that it bobbled, then call it an 'awful miss'. Come on man! An awful miss was Sofiane's (but that doesn't make him a bad player either).
If i did I would see you swearing at me and saying i have been pathetic - whilst all i have done is express an opinion on a footballer! Wonder which of us has over reacted in the heat of the moment
And that was his first touch too. What summed our season up with Boufal’s miss, was that it fell for him and not Carrillo.
