Alot of positives was prob the wrong way to put it. A few positives . I just dont think we were as bad as some posters have said. Imo ofcourse
Not sure everyone thought he was great because he scored against Burnley. I think most people agree though, he's a good striker that needs to play with someone alongside him, which we're all begging Pellegrino to do.
Post I replied to thought there were a lot, I don't think there were any hence laughing smiley. Bar the point.
He may have - hard to say as we were playing very badly as a team also. That isnt really relevant to anything i have said though - no value to say a player deserves to start because he would have been good if this/that happened.
We weren't bad. But we had to win the game at the end of the day and Pellegrino only went 2 up front with 25 minutes left. He's a coward.
A draw was definitely better than a loss, but now we rely on Liverpool beating Newcastle, and Man Utd winning at Palace. Chances are both will happen, but we have to try and take charge of our own destiny. Pellegrino doesn’t seem to appreciate the urgency of the situation, and neither do the players.
I don't see how we could stay up when the only team in the league we can beat is WBA. The most infuriating thing is that we decided to stick with a manager who will lead us to relegation when the signs that that could easily happen where there like 4 months ago.
It was, because it was just filled with smugness. It was like you took pleasure from the miss. You are crucifying a player who is not being used right by his club. Also, your post above has just summed it up. Player missed chance. Player doesn’t deserve to play. You are just too expectant, as a lot of our fans. Ps. Watch that bobble again fella.
Given the fixtures of palace and us playing Newcastle and west ham we have a good chance to gain some places. but we've got to attack them from the start.
On way back from game. First half poor, no urgency. When gabbiadini came on for tadic we really pushed hard but as usual couldn’t convert chances. Sims was generally good, Redmond had a good 2nd half. But we need points not positives.
Lol - a lot to a few! We were comfortable, but cannot attack for ****. This has been the case all season and is not going to help us now. If it was the first game of the season I might agree with you but we are where we are due to countless performances like today. People are now equating us being comfortable to us not being good enough, which is fair as being comfortable but not scoring will not keep us up.
Yeah I'm glad you took that the right way, you could have read it as a dig at you so glad you saw what I was meaning.
Oh dear oh dear.......we have a crap manager and a crap board. Until we get rid of them Saints are doomed to be nothing but a second rate team. I’m sorry folks I’ve supported Saints for a very long time. I have never expected anything spectacular. Just some good old fashioned decent football and at least a decent showing. Sorry this lot don’t have a clue........you have no idea how I dislike my self for saying such a thing........
