What exactly do you expect him to do when he gets the arse end of games to try and find some form? As I just said to TLL, he's a striker. He needs a run of games in a two up top alongside Carrillo. Saying he's ****e because he doesn't rescue us every game is a nonsense.
100% agree with this. Cannot give a pre match interview saying 'only a win will do' and then set the team up to keep it tight all first half
It really isnt though. If he would have scored, everyone would have said thats why Gabbi needs to start! (see last weekend) so when he wastes one of the best chances of the game with an air kick, i can point out that he perhaps doesnt deserve to start because he doesnt play particularly well

Not sure why you think I have something against Gabbi - id rather him start than Shane Long. In fact, after all i have said i would probably start him next week. We do indeed look better with 2 up top and whilst Austin is out he is in our top 2 strikers for sure. My point was that everyone thought he was great because of 1 goal against burnley - he needs to do a lot more to impress me.
