If they were going to get rid of him , they would have done it a while ago . They either believe he WILL keep us up , or are prepared for relegation IMHO .

I was going to defend Pellegrino by claiming we dominated huge portions of the game and in the end of the day it's not his fault out combined 30+ million dollar players missed several sitters. But then the substitutes completely ruined that. Shane long off for Sims who basically does the same job but much better? Boufal on instead of JWP? It's too late to sack Pellegrino now but if we avoid relegation he has to go. If he doesn't start a 4-4-2 next match I'm going to go ape-****.
Great result for all the other teams above us. Us ,Stoke and the Baggies really do deserve to go down if that's what happens.
I thought we played quite well in the second half. Both teams just don't look like scoring: either side had guilt-edged chances, especially Saints, and we did not take them.

He's not the second coming, no. But to expect him to perform in dribs and drabs at the end of games is absurd. He, along with Charlie, is the best finisher in our squad, and he needs a run of games to come good, alongside Carrillo.
