The only positive I can take from this game is that we look more better than the other teams we've played in the relegation zone. 17 shots and 15 corner with 0 goals is not a positive, it's a huge bleeding negative which sums up our season.
Vin always used to say Cedric will score one of these days because he takes a lot of shots. Really, he is just **** at shooting. And crossing
For 25 minutes, we more or less tried to win it. This wasn't a match that needed 25 minutes of effort to win, however. We needed to go for it from the off, and we didn't. And now we're well and truly relegation favourites.
Romeu and Lemina as the two CMs just doesn't give us any incisiveness, particularly when Tadic is so poor. Redmond and Sims bright lights in a poor game going forward. As is now the case, our best chances will come from a set piece so I would play JWP every remaining match.
Right. You've clearly made a decision about him, so I'm not going to bother to argue the point. (Aside from the fact he wasn't on for 30 minutes).
