7 out of the 10 teams above us,havn't spent that sort of money.With a top keeper we would be in the top 6 IMO,he's cost us at least 10 probably 15 pts.

 

But those teams haven’t been ravaged for the past 15 years. Ok we could have made playoffs if you or me were in goals but playoffs should not be our ambition. They are a lottery. Our ambition should be to do what wolves did and see up promotion in first half of season without parachute money too

 

If we had kept Green and signed Flint in the Summer, we'd be top 4.

 

Will leave it to you to get a billionaire in for next season then,should be easy enough.

 

But still miles from top two. Probably nine quality signings required in summer at average of say 3m each plus better salaries. Do you believe Rad will do that. Allow for a few duds actually and we’d need probably 18

Its all about money,why should rad risk every penny,after all you and Glory who are shouting for him to do that haven't invested much.

 

Pontus and Saiz only two good enough for a title chasing team in my opinion

 

Did Wolves buy 18 players pre season then,mid table last season and only bought a couple of players.

Like I said earlier, they havent had their best sold off in every transfer window in the last god knows how long. If you think the Leeds project will get on track on a shoestring, youre mistaken

The teams that go up need luck as much as anything else.Their top players not getting injured or suspended.ours has been **** this season,its the way it goes sometimes,we bought a £3 million pound striker in Jan who then got injured in training.out for the season,same with Ayling,if we hadn't let Green go we would have gone very close.

PS yes Wolves sold off all their best players,only a few years back and went into league 1 as a result.Took 4 years of a steady build to get where they are now.Our new owner has had 12 months.

pps even Man City throwing billions at it took 3 seasons to build this team.

 

I am sure this is imperfect nevertheless it shows a few interesting aspects to our league (it purports to be market value of squad ) . It will be open to challenge but probably gives an answer correct at an order of magnitude level
