For what it’s worth I work in a supply depot for a certain German company, and the weather related absenteeism, (or so they say, as some people are getting in from the same areas as those that can’t) since Thursday is through the roof. Staff for checking deliveries in have been missing. Staff for storing the stock are missing. Staff that select stock for deliveries are missing, and then some. Staff that should be collecting the collated deliveries and delivering to the stores, are also missing. Pretty much ground to a halt, and for those that have turned up it’s been fecking hard work, with no thanks.
Prowse has scored 4 of our last 8 goals. Definitely doesn't deserve dropping for Sims. Baffles me how Redmond is getting in ahead of Boufal too. Really think Sims would have been better as a sub against a tired defence with a couple of yellow cards whereas I fear they'll bully him a bit from the off.
I can imagine, I used to work in the distribution centre in Nursling and it used to be a nightmare if even a handful didn't turn up.
He didnt do enough for a start - scored a goal yes, but you cant play every player that scores. Carrillo deserves a run in the side and Gabbi hasnt done enough to show we should change formation - he has been crap for weeks
Why does JWP deserve to be dropped though? And also we could start every player who scores as I doubt we have 11 who have scored
Thats a fair point - he has impressed me this season. Although his biggest asset is his delivery, which will be less useful against Stoke as they are solid in that department. As another poster said, we may well be better off using thepace of Redmond and Sims to create chances.
