The MOT is on the list to get her hip done, so there's no point in two of us fecking ourselves up......
Just a word when she has had it done make sure she follows doctors advise to the letter. I four close friends who have had the opp 3 did not follow advice and paid for it. The forth had 2 done together followed advice and is fine. Although would not have had both done together if she had known beforehand what it was like.
Leeds faint play-off hopes were delivered a shattering blow last night as they were beaten 3-0 at the Riverside by a Middlesbrough team looking for a top-six spot themselves. And Leeds fans were shocked to see one of their players, Adam Forshaw, laughing and joking with the opposition after the game. A hat-trick from Patrick Bamford came without answer from Paul Heckingbottom’s men on a freezing Friday night. The match only got the go-ahead at lunchtime and travelling fans must have been wishing it had been postponed on the way back. When the teams were announced the Leeds fans were puzzled about the decision to leave Forshaw out of the side. The midfielder has been one of Leeds’ strongest players since his January move from Middlesbrough – and his knowledge of the Riverside would have given him an advantage over his teammates. However, at full time, the Leeds fans were fuming with their new man. He’d come on at half-time and been unable to alter the course of the game. But fans spotted him laughing with his former teammates when the final whistle went and that rubbed them up the wrong way. I'm getting a bit annoyed at the 'analysis' I'm reading here & all over social media. Apparently we lost this game due to Weidwald & he should be sold off. And apparently Cooper caused the first goal by missing his header. I just wonder if any of these people watched the match, or took the time to carefully watch the highlights. Goal 1 - Cooper went to intercept cross with his head. Was impeded, went over the top of their striker, and was then shoved off the ball, mid-air. Can't blame him. Did the man he was covering score? No. That would be the man that Pontus was marking. Allegedly. Was Pontus goalside of him? No. Did Pontus try to block? No. What did he do then? Spectate. Sadly. Weidwald had no chance to save it. Would have been world class if he had managed it. 'Keeper definitely not to blame. Yet he's getting a shirricking. So is Coops. Is it their fault Pontus had his head up his arse? Goal 2 - 2 Boro players took on 6 of our outfield players. And won. Not. One. Tackle. Indeed, not even one attempt at a tackle. When he got to Cooper, Coops came out to challenge, forcing the lay-off. A lay-off to the man Pontus was marking. Or should have been. What was Pontus doing? Ball watching again. He had no idea where Bamfield was. Impressive sprint when it was far too late. 'Keeper could indeed have done better, no doubt about that - but WHY was he put in that 1on1 position when there were 6 'defenders' available to prevent it? So, as Eck likes to call it out, it was the team that was at fault - not an individual. But only Weidwald is getting pelters for it. Why not Pontus the fcuking Viking hero? Perhaps one of those bricks he heads has done some damage? Goal 3 - yes, we all know it was offside. 'Keeper got pelters for this one too. But if you actually watch it from behind, he had the flight of the ball covered until it was deflected away by, yup, you got it - Pontus. How can you fault him for this? And yet it's happening. I'm not blaming Pontus for this one, btw - these things happen. But I bet if it had been deflected by, say, Phillips, or O'Kane, then they'd get torn to bits. Some questions for those that set this defeat at the door of Weidwald (as if the above was not enough). Was it Weidwald that couldn't string 2 passes together in midfield? NO. Was it Weidwald that couldn't tackle in midfield? NO. Was it Weidwald that couldn't get a cross in? NO. Was it Weidwald that could only get one (feeble) shot on target? NO Was it Weidwald that couldn't tackle on the wings to prevent crosses? NO. Was it Weidwald that couldn't score? NO. This was a terrible TEAM failure, not a Weidwald failure. Indeed, if you do check out what I've stated above, you might actually consider that it's Pontus that should get slated. But somehow he's above criticism. His failures & inactions put Weidwald in deep doo-doo. If Coops had played like that yesterday, there would have been uproar, and a demand for Pennington to replace him. But Pontus? No. he can do no wrong, can he? Now when it comes to Weidwald, I have defended him stoutly before. His greatest asset has been his sharp & accurate distribution, and I've been prepared to put up with his learning curve for that. It now appears that his distribution skills are no longer required. It seems clear that he's been told to hoof it up to the big guys in the other half - aka the opposition CBs. If this is going to be a feature, then yes, it's time to think about a replacement. But not Lonners. And I'm not convinced about Bailey Double-Barrel either.
