After having their flight cancelled a coach load have arrived from Tilburg (Willem II) Netherlands. They were not going to allow a bit of snow stop them.

I won't be going. Too risky for me, though fair play to those who are!

I can't see that many travelling down from Yorkshire. May need to amend my crowd prediction.

Compared to yesterday, travelling in and around Bristol is much easier this morning.

The main roads are now snow free and the side roads have also improved massively and are thawing fast.

The thaw has started down here - but it's too late for me - still dodgy getting out of my road - would need to leave in another hour if I was going

Gutted to miss a game - but better to go to all the others than kill myself trying to get there today (and have to accept that if I did risk it, my family would worry)

An Ashton Gate spokesman said: “The searching process will always be subject to change and whilst there is no specific threat to any Sports Ground, we must ensure that we remain vigilant and the message to spectators is to ‘Be Alert not Alarmed’.”

If larger bags are brought to the stadium, they will be subject to a thorough search, with a bag and tag procedure in place.
