Turns out I never actually confirmed the romantic hotel in Solihull so I’m on my own If anyone is going from the Bracknell area and has a space or needs a lift give me a shout.
I have done something similar Watford. I told Mrs Ellers that we were going for a weekend down south. Coincidently I bumped into my Rangers mate who was at the same place. He just so happened to have tickets to Southampton v QPR? Only reason I got away with it was I had a bet that we would win 2-1 with Ray Jones (RIP) or Dex scoring. I won £45 which paid for our dinner that night.
Another inspection for 9am. ****s. Sounds like the pitch is great but lots of the car parks around the ground aren’t open. Really should just play the game and refund anyone who has a ticket but can’t or won’t go. Villa fans keen to see it postponed as apparently Love Island Grealish is injured.
Seems that there is not much interest in the team or the formation. I wonder why? For what It us worth, my thoughts for this match are as follows. Villa have a great track record at home and will be very offensive. If we play our standard tactics then they will exploit the channels. I would play 4:2:3:1 in order to have a robust defence, but I would play two fast wingers and a fast forward, ie the youngsters. This way they will be able to press and hopefully cause problems on the counter attack. It also assumes our defence will be organised and able to defend at set pieces.
Looks like the elements outside the ground are unsafe for the fans rather than the ground itself. Nothing surprising really and probably a result we didn’t need today after last week. Will need to be safe (from relegation) before we play this game though. Stay safe everyone.
Derby, Leicester & Cov still on. No other West Midlands games to compare I don’t think. Edit- wolves still on. Sky will make sure of that.

I thought you were there. The lookout will be cool but busy. I took my dog out yesterday and she loved the snow. on a bright note...at least we won't be disappointed with the game canceled.
