Sounds like a fine choice sir.

Think I'd be pairing that with some nice charcuterie, a few olives and definitely a little bit of manchego.

Proper food and drink for grown ups... none of this fish & chips b*ll**ks.

CHELSEA STUMP UP £5M FOR TWO LEEDS ACADEMY STARS
In 2006, Chelsea completed the signings of 16-year-old duo Tom Taiwo and Michael Woods from Leeds United.

However, former Leeds owner Ken Bates lodged a formal complaint to the Football League over the "illegal approaches" made by Chelsea.

Chelsea's initial compensation offer of £200,000 for the academy duo was deemed "insulting" by Bates and the Blues eventually stumped up £5m in an out-of-court settlement.

    WHAT HAPPENED TO THEM?
Well, you'll be forgiven for having never heard of Tom Taiwo and Michael Woods.

The £5m fee was a significant fee 12 years ago but neither of them went on to make a Premier League appearance in Chelsea colours.

    MICHAEL WOODS
Woods, a central midfielder, did make two FA Cup appearances under Jose Mourinho but his progress at Stamford Bridge was hampered by a series of injuries.

He had a short and unsuccessful loan spell at Notts County and was released by Chelsea when his contract expired in 2011.

After seven months without a club, Woods joined Yeovil Town and Doncaster Rovers on short-term contracts but failed to impress.

He dropped out the Football League to join Harrogate Town in 2013 and it was exactly what his career needed.

Woods score nine times in 35 appearances, earning a move back to the Football League with Hartlepool Town in 2014.

Now 27, Woods remains a first team regular at Hartlepool.

    TOM TAIWO
The highly-rated youngster suffered a terrible stroke of luck soon after signing for Chelsea, breaking his leg two days before he was due to make his youth team debut.

Taiwo recovered but was never given a chance in the first-team during his four-year stay in west London.

The midfielder struggled on loan at Port Vale but did impress at Carlisle United in the 2009/10 season and the Cumbrians rewarded him with a permanent contract.

Taiwo then moved to Scottish club Hibernian in 2012 but he's been playing in the Scottish Championship since 2014 after Hibs sold him to Falkirk.

Neither of their careers have panned out like they had dreamed - but, on the bright side, they are both still getting paid to play football for a living.

Speaking of money having the final say over common sense what are the odds of the match kicking off and being abandoned leaving the supporters to pay again.

Leeds United are the most televised team in English football outside the Premier League's top six clubs.

It’s been 14 long years since United regularly rubbed shoulders with the country’s elite sides. It’s been even longer since they could seriously claim to be part of that elite.
However, that doesn’t seem to have stopped Leeds from being one of the biggest draws in the country for broadcasters.

Last Wednesday’s match against Derby was the 16th United game to be shown live this season.

That’s more than four out of every 10 games the Whites have played so far in 2017/18 (42%).

Leeds also have another four games scheduled to be shown live - against Middlesbrough, Wolves, Fulham and now Aston Villa, which was announced on Thursday - which will take their total up to 20 by April 30, the date that the TV scheduled games go up to.

Only six other clubs will have had more domestic games shown live by then - Arsenal, Chelsea, Liverpool, Manchester City, Manchester United and Tottenham.

Televised domestic games up to April 30:
    • Arsenal: 31
    • Manchester United: 30
    • Tottenham: 30
    • Liverpool: 28
    • Manchester City: 28
    • Chelsea: 26
    • Leeds: 20
    • Aston Villa: 19
    • Leicester: 18
    • Newcastle: 18
Leeds United's trip to Aston Villa moved after being selected for television coverage
    So why Leeds?
The football’s been good at times, but not consistently good. The promotion push was on at one point, but that feels like a while ago now.

The answer is simple really - viewing figures.

United’s televised league games have had an average of 361,583 people watching them this season.

Sunderland are the only Championship team whose games can boast a bigger average audience than Leeds’ - 395,500. Nottingham Forest have the next best average (349,000) followed by Middlesbrough (321,250) and Sheffield United (315,667
    Championship average viewing figures
    • Sunderland: 395,500
    • Leeds: 361,583
    • Nottingham Forest: 349,000
    • Middlesbrough: 321,250
    • Sheffield United: 315,667
    • Cardiff: 301,714
    • Derby: 293,800
    • Bristol City: 293,667
    • Reading: 289,500
    • Aston Villa: 286,083
If United are able to achieve the dream of reaching the Premier League, their viewing figures would no doubt skyrocket even further.

Leeds United talent Mallik Wilks entered 2018 with high hopes but so far they have not been realised.

Wilks returned from his loan spell at Accrington after showing real promise and scoring his first professional goals.

Leeds fans were calling for him to get a first team chance, but the Whites had other ideas as they sanctioned a loan move to Grimbsy and signed Tyler Roberts instead.

It is a move which has worked out well for nobody so far.

Roberts got injured in his first training session at Leeds and is out for the foreseeable future.

If Wilks had remained at Leeds then perhaps he would have been given a chance considering a lack of options behind Pierre-Michel Lasogga.

As it stands, he has not had a proper chance to impress out on loan.

He too suffered an injury and the Grimsby Telegraph reported this week he has been ruled out of the weekend's game with his hamstring problem.

Wilks, 19, has played twice as a substitute for a combined 30 minutes of football, and played twice as a starter out on the wing, being hooked off at half-time in his most recent appearance.

Missing this weekend's game means he will have been out of action for a month by time he returns.

The positive momentum he had built up in the first half of the season for himself has ground to a halt, and he needs to find a way to finish strongly when he returns to action, so he can return to Leeds with confidence.

Still think this could be a team that doesn’t suit us, they will be physical, they will hoof it into our box a la a Pulis team and I’m not sure Felix will cope with it. Hope I’m wrong
