I think I'm going to come up on the Friday, and spend 2 nights. Best deal I can find is Holiday Inn Express Leeds East 2 Aberford Road Oulton Leeds. £124 for 2 days including breakfast. Anywhere in the city is circa £200 for the Fri16th - Sunday 18th Thoughts?

That is miles away by the time you factor in tranport its no cheaper.cancel if you can and see where shakes is staying you can walk to station or ground from there..you need to be more central.

It' 5.5 miles from central train station. Scores an 8 1 with free parking and breakie for 115 pounds which includes a superior room. Honestly guys, the equivalent anywhere near Leeds city centre is over £200 full stop I'll just get a taxi from the hotel. If it's 5 and a half miles I'm not going to be paying more than 10 to 15 pounds
Have a good look at that final option. Cheap & central, round the corner from Shaks & no taxi queues when you're freezing your bollocks off. Very walkable.
