Good strike to be fair which is a surprise because for most of the time he looks like a new born giraffe taking his first steps on the velt
Think he's a bit unfortunate there with Stekelenburg only being 5 years older than him. By the time Stekelenburg out of the equation Krul won't be a young man.
If Krul keeps up performances like that he could overtake Stekelenburg. He was first choice when Stekelenburg was injured and put in some top performances. Definitely one for the Dutch manager to consider.
Stekelenburg is a superb keeper though mate, so consistent and good at everything. Was surprised he went to Roma, thought he was United or Arsenal bound for sure.
More questions then answers tonight I would say Chappaz. I always thought you would score but dear me Ba is toilet and did Best have his boots on the right way round. He got in some good position but could not hit a cows arse with a banjo. Simpson, Lover, Gosling and Raylor are simply not good enough and you need bodies in quick for these esp if Barton goes down the road. The two young lads changed the game when they came on, wish we had made such effective subs on Tuesday night.
I personally think that the best in the world is Rene Adler of Leverkusen, yet he is second pick to Neuer for Germany (another unreal keeper). Hugo Lloris is fantastic as well, and another Frenchman, Stephane Ruffier, who plays for St Etienne now, he is unreal. Stekelenberg in my opinion would go 4th, after Adler, Casillas and Neuer.
Fair. I personally never consider Germans when compiling a best of list. ****ers. Ask me the greatest German 11 of all time and I'd be pretty ****ed
Not again, why do the mods let him get away with it. Does he not realize this is a public forum, has he no concept of the laws on slander in this country, oh wait, what am I saying, he can hardly tie his own shoelaces.
The first set of players you mentioned are good enough for the first team. Simpson for example played very well against you guys. However, for some reason, they just don't put any effort in during the cups. Perhaps they think playing against a League One team is too below them. I knew the youngsters would put some fight in though, and Vuckic and Sammy did. Real gems.
