An inch or two of snow in Paris which worried me as I have a eurostar to London this afternoon. I'm on the train pulling out of gare du nord because, as DT rightly pointed out, things work in France.

    Which is not in France
Just watched 2tgv glide past while I wait for Mrs DT at Beziers as A9 closed as 21 lorry pile up all delivering goods up to the U.K. I expect
Local village I came through had 2 metres of snow overnight -9 through there and everything still working

    No
not far off the truth seriously chief
Mate told me in East Sussex that supermarkets cleared out
And people laugh when I say it’s on a knife edge. I was running low of tabac so drove to nearby Villenerve all car parks cleared is snow and fully functioning... that’s for a region that hasn’t seen snow since 2002 and had five times the amount fall than the U.K.
1.2m here yesterday I was told all snow cleared from streets and it will be 15 tomorrow so they could of just left it
Better still that village has snow equipment in storage so they used it ... no snow since 2002 and they were equipped
