Those scumbags.. The biggest animals in Ireland, including the Orange lodge......they don't deserve it. But fair play to them.
Well it is a hot topic it's on ESPN, Sky News, BBC so I wanted everyone's take on it simple, Let's be honest it surely can't get any worse
Thanks Jen maybe we could meet up and talk about this Football and my crying problem especially after sex..........I like to call it Crymaxing
The problem is the scottish league is that it has to compete with the premiership. It will never be able to that and apart from rangers and celtic the other teams are no better than the league 2 sides. Theres nothing exciting about the scottish league to bring new fans to it. If the premiership was on the same level as the scottish league no one would moan about the quality of it. Unless you can heavily invest in a team and win the champions league no one will give two sh*ts about it and that is not likely to happen in the near future. The only thing that could possibly save scottish football is is fifa do a super league which has been floating about for a few years or even still the scottish & premiership combine.
This is a new low for Scottish football. There are major problems from the deep roots to the very top. For a start such average and incompetent management at Celtic and Rangers is really damaging to the SPL. Despite being fine players for their clubs, Lennon and McCoist are perhaps two of the most sub standard coaches to have taken charge of those two great clubs. A long long way from the days of O'Neil and McLeish that's for sure. For a start a whole raft of changes have to occur to get kids playing again. And playing in the right way again. I think that too often young players think they can take on the world and be the next Lionel Messi. They do not have the intelligence to know that they will never be the next Lionel Messi but also do not have the intelligence to play to their strengths. At Primary School level, basic intelligence is needed from the coaches at that level. They have to stress the importance of pass and move football and the importance of playing as a team, not as an individual. Rangers and Celtic for a start have to improve their recruitment/youth facilities. These two clubs have produced some of the finest footballers seen in Europe. They should have faith in the talent in and around Glasgow because it's there. Stop with the desperate crap signings from abroad and start playing more of the youth because you cannot get any lower than this.
As I say every time this topic comes up, the Scottish teams will never do well while the SPL is a 2 horse race every year. We need Hearts & Hibs to merge, and the 2 Dundee clubs and Aberdeen to merge to provide some decent competition. If there were 4 teams with a realistic chance of winning it, it would increase interest, attract more money from sponsors and make us be able to attract/hang onto a better quality of player.
