    If Best could finish we would of won the game comfortably. Hope we get that left back in asap, raylor's done well last couple of games but you can tell it's not his preferred position

    Krul was superb, Sammy looked really good and scored a screamer, Vuckic looked good, as did Marveaux although he started to tire in the second half

    Vuckic and Sammy changed the game, this is exactly why before the game I wouldn't stop moaning about the youth being given a good crack of the whip, they came on and did themselves proud, Sammy did more in the time he was on than Lovenkrands, Ba and Best did the entire game, I would honestly give him a go in the first team, looks great and his confidence will be at a high.

    Thought Marveaux looked very good for his first competitive game for us.

    Was very disappointed with Gosling who I thought was awful, but hopefully will improve with more game time, same for Demba Ba but apparently, along with Tiote is fasting for Rhamadan which will of course affect energy levels, Ba needs to be given time, after all hes only played just over 100 minutes.... too early to write him off.

    Edit: How could I forget Tim Krul, absolutely outstanding and the right choice for no1.

    Krul kept us in the game early on and was brilliant.

    Sammy made a big difference upfront when he came on and deserves a start after this. Much better than big brother.

    Credit to S****horpe for making a game of it and making it an exciting night. (Phew)

    Special mention to Cabaye, he looks a classy/gritty type player. His vision is excellent and he could be our new playmaker with barton going.
