Look on the bright side, neither could the VAR.

Could not play that starting XI against what
will probably be a full strength Swanspurs.

    Well done Rochdale.
Hopefully the new pitch will allow your
    passing game to escape relegation.

    Bizarre game.
Llorente's thunder stolen by VAR and the snow.

Very pleased for KWP. Usual suspects did well and badly. Defence looked especially unsure today though and Llorente's hat trick shouldn't distract from his poor performances until that half of football. And whatever happened to the Harry Winks of the first few months of the season? Looks a different player now for all the wrong reasons.

I would like to see (hear?) the referees miked up, including the linesmen and 4th official and the VAR. At least then we might have some idea what they are discussing and how they use the system. It ruins games when it is implemented like it was tonight though, that first half was a farce.

  15. A few redeemed themselves in the 2nd half. But I fear that Winksy may disappear. There was an almost despondent resignation when he was subbed. Sad, because until quite recently he was on the verge of a regular England place.

Glad Nando made me shut my mouth. Even though it was against Rochdale, I'd love for this to be a turning point for him. Doubtful but we can hope.

Winks on the other hand, being taken off against bottom of League One opposition just says it all.

    Moura, Sonny, Lamela, Tripps <ok>

Can't beat a good ol' boot up the backside at HT

We shouldn't have to score 4 goals before we decide we can actually knock the ball about like a top team though. Should be confident enough just coz you're wearing the white shirt.

    well played Llorente
    KWP looked fresh
Lamela looking like he's back to being his busy self
Match fit Moura is going to be tasty
Sonny boy did what Sonny boy does
Foyth was cack...seems to lack self belief

Before Winks was injured he was doing great. Players need time to get back after injury at this level especially in a team that is founded on supreme fitness as Spurs are. I have seen such criticism against Dembele and probably rightly against Rose but we need to give players time the fact that Wanjama Winks Dembele Rose Trippier have all struggled on their returns from injury shows how difficult at this level it is to slot in.

So....do we play Lloris or does Vorm keep his spot?

Not because he has done anything wrong but it's the business end now...strongest XI
