The Smoggo's currently occupy 8th place in the Championship, and are 3 points ahead of Leeds but have a much better goal difference. Boro are boosted by Traore's red card being rescinded following his assault on a Sunderland player. Boro's form has been distinctly average. They drew 3- 3 at the Stadium of Light at the weekend and have recorded wins over Hull and Reading, but have lost at Cardiff and Norwich. Heckingbottom will probably stick more or less to the team that beat Brentford at the weekend, although both Hernandez (available after a knock) and Forshaw are both available for selection.
Morning all. Forshaw will probably walk straight back into the team but not so sure about Pablo. Who would you- Alioski or Dallas? Unbelievable about the red card being rescinded.
Phil Hay@PhilHayYEP Orta on Lasogga's future after his loan - he has one year more of his contract at Hamburg. Pierre is happy in Leeds and it's a situation we can discuss and it could be a possibility. We're evaluating it. Thoughts? Should we go out of our way to sign him?
Morning elland not sure we should go out of our way to sign him. We should make a reasonable offer but not go overboard. I appreciate he's playing well but I'd much rather we went after someone with pace
Morning all... As we were last time out apart from one change, Forshaw for OKane and Pablo on the bench. Can’t understand why that red card was overturned. Lasogga has netted a few goals, I honestly hear what people say about him (in a positive manner) but I still feel we need better, yes best we have but he needs ball to feet, no pace, nothing much in the air, am I expecting too much for a Championship player?
Good morning Hampshire is suffering from a 2mm deluge of snow this morning and my southern neighbours (most of whom I believe are estate agents) won’t be leaving their homes for at least 3 days. I’ll be out in the garden, bare chested, digging it over while I drink a pint. I put us down to edge it by one goal. Mainly because we need to, tbh, though also because Boro are not playing anything special at the moment (and we are, of course.....)
Dug my truck out of six foot snow drifts this morning to make sure the beer deliveries get through, and the southerners get their lemonade.using only Orange penis glow for light.
If as reported he’s on 50 k a week then a 3 year contract also costs another £7.5m. So it will come down to numbers as well, though I agree if possible we need to keep. At least he’s showing strong desire to play for us.
Good Morning To Matt and co from a bardsey blanketed in snow So Traore their dangerman plays worst luck maybe Forshaw will give us some tios Lassogga I suggested we give a singing on fee of £2m and 10k a week contract and get him for free from Hamburg Hamburg would save themselves £2,5m and we would have got a bargain
Awe you gotta admit though that was a great left hook,if it was boxing he would have scored good points for that Now if it was a Leeds player ???
I like Alioski and Dallas. Dallas is really underrated. The Leeds win right when Dallas place is much higher than average
Morning Nick, I believe Lasogga is available for 3.5 million. Obviously his wage demands are unknown but we know what he's on at the moment.
