Find myself shouting at the tv every time I hear beast from the east.

****ing embarrassing that so called professional news reporters are using it.

If the media really want to know about the beast from the east they should go for a night out in Withernsea

You just wait for Storm Emma later this week.

This is nowt compared to the wrath of a slightly blowy day named after the most inoffensive woman's name I can think of.

I reckon it'll be the apocalypse.

Broken seals, four horsemen, pestilence; the whole gubbins.

Keep indoors folks an' arm yourself to the teeth.

    My youngest is called Emma.

There's also a lass at work called Emma.

Beware the ides of Storm Emma.

    It's gonna be awful.

Here on the outskirts of Lincolnshire btw, had to scrape 2 inches off me car this morning. Drove up the road towards Cambridge, not a ****ing flake in sight.

Got home tonight, mostly cleared too.

It's started again though, so, am working from home tomorrow.

    Lifes too precious.

Good job these people who can't cope weren't about in 1963. Baby boomers were a sturdier breed tham Millenials, Generation X etc...

Though in one article about the hardships down South I liked the tweet saying that up in Newcastle people were wearing long sleeves.

I read a suggestion that storms should be named after politicians, so the report would be something like "Corbyn caused desolation across the South West" or "Boris leaves a trail of destruction across London".

Trouble is, there'd be a glut of options when it's just wet and windy..

No. Just giving people who moan about having their mistakes pointed out the chance to do the same. Which they do.
