. Spurs haven't announced anything other than taking the necessary precautions to inform the premier league that we might have to play away from home but it's only football regulations that need to be adhered to and spurs are just following the guidelines. That was always on the cards so we have a nice easy home run in to claim the title in our first season in the new White Hot Lane. The press again saying we are behind schedule on the stadium build and are going to be playing the first four league games away from home at the start of next season.why do they come out with this crap again.. Seems like she knows her stuff, a good summary of the game without listening to pundits views. I hope her viewpoint was higher than the camera, as I can't imagine she saw much of the game if it was. A good refresher on our songs if nothing else. Here is a Spurs vlogger for ya :

The Standard's slant on the story was the stadium will be called The Tottenham Hotspur Stadium...before mentioning a couple of paragraphs later that it would only be called that if we didn't have a naming rights deal in place.WHITE HOT LANE......a perfect fit!
It'll probably be called that as the basic name, but any sponsorship will override it while it lasts. The Standard's slant on the story was the stadium will be called The Tottenham Hotspur Stadium...before mentioning a couple of paragraphs later that it would only be called that if we didn't have a naming rights deal in place.
Huge difference in those stadia as one was built by the club and therefore is known as their stadium whereas the other has nothing to do with the team as it was a stadium built in the city of Manchester for the Commonwealth games. It'll probably be called that as the basic name, but any sponsorship will override it while it lasts.
The Emirates is actually called The Arsenal Stadium and The Etihad is The City of Manchester Stadium, for example.
I expect that our place will follow a similar system.
I agree, but in terms of naming rights they're stadiums with official names that are overridden by sponsors.Huge difference in those stadia as one was built by the club and therefore is known as their stadium whereas the other has nothing to do with the team as it was a stadium built in the city of Manchester for the Commonwealth games.
I seem to recall that the official name of Expensive Stoke's stadium is the Manchester United Football Ground - which happens to be in Old Trafford.I agree, but in terms of naming rights they're stadiums with official names that are overridden by sponsors.
Bolton's would seem to be an exception, as it doesn't have a non-sponsor name, apparently.
Pub quiz question: Which football team plays their home games in Chelsea? Trick question. There isn't one.I seem to recall that the official name of Expensive Stoke's stadium is the Manchester United Football Ground - which happens to be in Old Trafford.
Remind me to somehow fluke my way onto the MOTD sofa and constantly refer to Chelsea's ground as Fulham Broadway...
