My wife's nephew, who is 12, has Crohn's disease or ulcerative colitis. Blood is coming from his back passage so frequently that he has been admitted to hospital and surgery is needed. Up to now they have shown little interest in treating him. It seems that treatment is deferred until it's critical. This is so typical of this government's flawed thinking. With so many medical conditions the cost of prevention is considerably less than the cost of cure. Front loading costs to ensure that conditions are diagnosed and treated early will often save the costs of expensive surgery and medication further down the line. But do they see the wisdom of that approach? No.
My friend's wife in Downham Market has just had a hip replacement. They have found a leak in her heart. They've told her she has to wait 8 weeks for surgery. My sister was taken to hospital a couple of years ago with heart trouble. They let her out too early.Went sick again.Husband returned her to hospital where she died.A law suit is on going. The NHS is as helpful as the NRA!......but a bullet is quicker!
Twitter troll and occasional MP Ben Bradley has apologised to Jeremy Corbyn for tweeting that he sold secrets to communist spies, not doubt on the advice of his solicitors. On the subject of shooting (albeit not in the foot) the NRA are losing sponsors left and right, first with Hertz and Enterprise car rental dropping their discounts for members, and more recently United and Delta airlines...which does beg the question why an airline would offer a discount to anyone who has a greater probability of carrying a gun, although in United's case it may be a good thing as they don't want their passengers shooting airline employees when they assault passengers before dragging them off flights.
Are there any communists about today? China is all big business.N Korea is a dictatorship and Russia, well Russia,is also a dictatorship.Cuba? Maybe not......
Nobody uses the term communist any longer. There are socialist states; some follow the Marxist-Leninist model of the USSR (theoretically). China, Cuba, Laos, Vietnam and North Korea I think would be considered "communist" , although China seems capitalist to me.
Cuba, Vietnam and Laos are still following the Marxist-Leninist ideology. On the other hand, China are blatantly cherry picking which parts of communism they want to adhere to and which they should pay lip service to. On the one hand they're very much in favour of the part about there being one party that rules the nation unopposed, yet on the other they clearly ignore the parts about there being a classless society or sharing the means of production and wealth - most obvious to anyone contrasting Beijing, Shanghai or Hong Kong to the rural areas of the country where the former not only have obvious class divisions based on earnings but hoard the money those cities produce, while the latter only see a penny of that wealth when they're being forced out of their homes so a motorway or dam can be built where they happen to have lived for x-many generations. What's interesting about that is that Russia claims to not be a communist state, yet just switching Beijing, Shanghai and Hong Kong for Moscow and Saint Petersburg in the above paragraph goes a long way to describing that country.
China is undergoing a "pendulum swing" literally going back to the "landlord class" days. The only thing that remains from 1949 is that the Party is above all else, physical and spiritual, and anyone or anything that dares to challenge to the contrary better have their personal affairs in this life all done and dusted.
So it's emerged that the main reason that internet troll and occasional hack writer Toby Young wrangled the higher education regulator gig was due to extensive meddling by Tory ministers. I know, I was surprised to hear this as well... https://www.theguardian.com/media/2...d-in-toby-young-getting-ofs-role-finds-report

In other news, Labour has just appointed Munroe Bergdorf as their LGBT Equalities Adviser. Yep you know, the same one that claims all white people are racist, no matter what. What could possibly go wrong?
Nothing, unless they claim that the reason all white people are racist is due to Jews corrupting their minds.
That's just a diversion. Sorry but I voted Labour during the last election, rightly or wrongly (on a constituency basis) and I find it deeply troubling that they think it's appropriate to appoint someone into an "equalities" position who claims I am racist - no ifs, no buts. Don't let your loyalty blinker your judgement. That's a poor, divisive decision whatever party you support.
All white people are racist = right on. Anything that yet again links Labour to anti-semitism = another PR sh*t storm.
I've always thought that white Englishmen have always been reluctant to get involved with others because of our natural shyness.Unless it's friends, workmates or family.
