Match Day Thread Swansea City 2 v 0 Sheffield Wednesday

I doubt we will see first choice players ( although I think we should lay the best team available) but I'd also like 3 CBs maybe MVdH to give a bit of a confidence boost, Matic and Mawson (who in my opinion needs a boot up the backside.
Although I've got a ticket because of the weather and 2 hour each way drive I've still not decided if I'll go.
Weather in Swansea doesn't look bad ... just very cold.

 

Bummed out! Might not be able to watch. Travelling to Ireland today on a job, was supposed to sail from Fishguard this afternoon which would result in me getting to the hotel in Galway at 8pm - just in time for kick off. They cancelled the sailing due to a technical fault and told me I can sail from Holyhead at 8.30pm. So I've driven for 5 hours to get here - will be at sea during the match and won't get to Galway until 3am. Ready to start work at 7am. Sucks

There is a possibility that Leon might play tonight, I still think we have enough to win to progress.......We out played Wolves when we had too...

Poor match, low on quality particularly in first half.

The HT changes worked.

What a pedestrian game, it took Ayew to unlock the boredom, Dyer sealing the game, but we lacked tempo throughout, but the result was never in doubt, first half Carol and particularly Clucas where doing my nut in with their constant back passing, second half was an improvement but what a dull affair, yet we are in the last 8, amazing given the dire start we had to this season under Clementine....................

 

In the first half, Clucas was like a spectator, stuck out on the left and not attempting to get involved in the game. He was probably under instruction to do so but it took him out of the game. Carrolls mindset is now totally negative- back,back, back, back, back. It's killing us.
