Sorry to lower the mood but need to express my shock somewhere. Just had to go into work on my day off as 3 of my staff wee killed in a head on collision this morning on their way home with a 4th in critical condition. FML
My recollection when John was sold was the huge transfer fee offered at that time and the big money offered to him.What the money was used for was immaterial.
Just shocked tbh. Gonna have massive effects on my workplace. So many friends and family there. Just had a phone call to say the critical one is ok but quite a few broken bones. That's a relief as he is a mate as well as an employee
Without being patronising. Make sure you allow yourself enough time to process and cope with this whilst looking after everyone else. If you fall to bits you can’t help anyone else.

Thank you for all the messages guys, truly appreciated. It is one of those things you hope to never need but my company provides a death in service policy so all families concerned will receive a years salary payo ut. Small condolence but at least takes the worry of unexpected funeral costs away as they were all reasonably young.
