does anyone have that list of players who are out of contract in the summer? will be interesting to see who should be here next season and who isnt.
Great game.. loved the atmosphere and the way we played. With a bit more luck we would have won last night. TWS were saved bySchmeichel (3 grat saves) and they managed to kick the ball off the line twice in the second half. I thought the team were really up for it and it showed on the pirch... Best we've played this season... It will take a good side to beat us on this sort of form. Whic probably means we will do something stupid like losing to Scunny next Saturday. Preston, however, I think we will beat but I'll still be giving Brownie a wave..
There is an edit post function for the typos if you check after you make a post, like heaven after 606! Next season we will tear this league up, but I agree with OLM that we will just miss out this year but only because of the slow start because of all the uncertainties and financial restriction that we had to deal with.
In Adam Pearsons words. We are a couple of transfer windows away from being where we want to be. I think we'll just miss out on the play-offs. Consolidation aint a bad thing. Push on next year after those two transfer windows.
We have good players, but it appears NP is brilliant at encouraging people to sign but not so good at encouraging them to win. Lot's of positives to take out of the first half last night, but I'm not going to sit here and pretend that a 2-2 draw after being 2-0 up is a good result.
"encouraging them to win" ?? what a load of bollox.. your second sentence is better.. however in the grand scheme of things watching the team now compared to when NP first took over - there are a lot of positives.
Considering the serious financial trouble wew were in earlier in the season, our poor form and the player turnover I think we should be happy that our club is in the hands of local owners with our best interests at heart, seem to have a very good management team and are slowly but surely building a steady platform to build on for the long term future of the club
