If a Prem club came along and offered us 20m for Saiz, what would you say if you knew the money could be reinvested. First player I'd buy is Flint from Bristol City for 6m. 14m left. I would then try for Danny Ings at 9m. Thoughts?
Thanks for posting the actual quotes I’m not a naturally trusting soul, the reason I am believing they are being honest is I have Rad down as someone who does want to be in the Prem and constantly selling your best players is penny wise, pound foolish, if that’s your aim. It’s not I think he is an altruist with Leeds in his heart, it’s that he’s a businessman who stands to make a lot more than Cellino did if he sells us in the Prem. If he coins it after doing that, good luck to him.

Morning all. Ever since the Revie days ended we have always sold our best players. In fact the truth is all clubs have to sell their best players so it's just a fact of football life and we the fans hate it. But what the better run clubs do is get another year or 2 out of those good players before they sell them on at a premium. What's needed now is some serious investment in the summer and players like Siaz and Jannson to be told that they are going nowhere until at least the summer of 2019. Will that happen ? Probably not as Radz as already shown with Wood that he is willing to take the money rather than hold a player to his contract. To be honest I can't help feeling deflated that in all probability another pre season will be totally wasted when our squad is disrupted by last minute departures.

If Saiz said he wants to stay and win promotion with us turn it down. If he asks to leave accept it. The problem is, a £10m rated Championship player is probably looking to earn a move to the PL at £10m many Championship clubs are going to say no, we’re not selling. At £10m you’re probably looking at overseas players. Or out of contract players on a free but big wages
