It doesn't matter about how many members each group has as each member of the committee only has one vote. I would guess that the South Stand rep would have more sway of any, if it was done on numbers.

The south stand rep isn't an elected representative of anyone, he's a fan from the south stand who is there merely to witness. The onus is and always has been on Geoff to get things done. I am certain that if there wasn't this efl rule thing about meeting the fans it would literally be just the Allams and the trust round the table.
That's fine, if that's what you believe, but the fact is that its a Committee and you being certain of something, doesn't change that. The Supporters Groups could and possibly would in the future send any of their members to the meetings. It does not have to be a board member or even an officer. These last few meetings have be called to address the issues that we needed addressing, but in the future, who knows what will be on the agenda and who knows who will be sat around the table.
Don't YOU just hate seeing the idea of the OSC being diminished in any way? How dare someone suggest that the OSC aren't big players in this sordid charade, how dare they diminish your importance. Stick to raising money for charity, it's all you're good for - the only fans you and the OSC speak for are the 'silent majority', the ones that the Allams think are backing them.
I think we are all been naive if you think anything will change. The Allams not been there is all you need to know. A waste if time! Allams out!
These " stand reps" were they elected by the people they represent? do they have meetings with those they speak for to canvas their opinions? Do they ****. They are nothing more than interested parties who are willing to give up their free time to go to the meetings (if the Allams view them appropriate)
If you're wanting to know who turned up in place of Ehab and Assem. I can let you know it was Assems wife Ehabs mum who apologised for their behaviour and informed the group that's she's told them both their not the messiah there very naughty boys and the real reason they don't go to games is because she has grounded them until their attitude improves.
This post misses the point of a Supporters Committee. It is a fluid body of opinion and a forum for discussion. It’s members do not have to be elected, the main body of the committee is made up of supporters who put themselves forward and who are randomly selected or are selected by the supporters groups. Anyone can apply to become a member. The key difference is that the Supporters Committee is representive of the supporter base and does not represent it. Supporters Committee’s and supporter forums, that are attended by the clubs owners or representatives, are an important element in supporter / club relationships and they are the norm in most clubs. The model used at Hull City is the same as many other clubs. The last meetings were different in the fact that the committee was static and the planned change in the reps was put on hold. There is a world of difference between holding a meeting and having direct talks with the club and sitting on a committee or forum. Anyone who thinks that the only supporters who have been selected, have been filtered out to avoid conflict, has simply got it wrong. How for instance would the club know if the stand reps are members of the protester groups or not? Do they know which supporters groups they are members of? Are they even asked?
The normal meetings may be the case, where the really big and important details are discussed like if the bog roll is soft enough, if the mirrors are shiny enough, which pies are a bit ****, which players don't sign enough autographs etc. The past couple of meetings have had a particular agenda and the attendance of anyone other than the trust, as I said, was merely a box ticking exercise. Two birds with one stone. They were witnesses not participants.
