So we return to action and a shred of normality tonight with our away fixture to Fulham, a couple of weeks ago I would have had this down for at least a draw possibly a win. But to be honest I'm not so sure now looking at the additions Fulham have made and how we have only managed to weaken the team (even with Carroll out of the equation).

I'm hoping Pardew will try and use the Carroll saga to try and spur the team on to prove a point of : We can do it without Carroll

Heart says a 1-0 win head says 1-0 loss

    Preditions???

It's one of those hard to call matches, on paper Fulham should win and I see that the Scouse Mystic Meg on the British Biased Corp has said so however the lads have had a rest and events may act as a catalyst for us, I shall call me Bro and head for the pub tonight.......cheers and HWTL!

The blue kit seems to sap the life and energy out of the players so my head says 2-0 Fulham but my heart says 1-0 to the toon

We always struggle at the cottage so i never back us to win there. circumstances might see our famed unity prevail here however. i see us giving it everything we've got to show we don't need him.

i might even have a cheeky bet.

My suit will spur them on to victory tonight.

We're all in 'de-nile' - Ranger to blow away the fugue with the winner!

I think it will be 2-3
    Dempsey
Simpson (so i get my Prediction right :smiley-finger007:)
    Johnson
    Ranger (tap in)
    Ranger (header)

I think loosing Andy will spur Ranger on at least.

We have been scoring and looking decent without AC in recent weeks. Plus, the players are pretty stubborn and usually react to a kick in the nuts....Liverpool game after hoots left? Barton was utterly immense and will be the same again tonight. It will be tight but our second half performance will get us the win.

Saying that Fulham are the draw specialist of the league and have played 2 matches in the last week.

So a 0-0 draw since we havn't had one in this fixture for some time.

On paper I think we should have enough about us to beat them we've done well in London this season and thanks to no FA cup tie we shouldn't be as tired as some of their players will be, which should help it's just whether we can use that to gain the advantage.

The loss of Carroll is a blow, but Pardew is making all the right noises however I can see us drawing this game either 1-1 or 2-2. Under Pardew we do seem to attack more and play with more purpose than we did under Hughton however we seem to be prone to lapses at the back now and letting teams attack us when we should be holding on to the ball instead of inviting teams at us

Fulham got a great result against Spurs, tonight isn't going to be easy.

    Take a draw (hopefully).

Yeah great result, but did you see the state of Spurs, it's probably the worst I've seen them play. Fulham played well but Spurs were awful and their defence is screwed!!

Yeah Spurs had a day off but confidence will be good in Fulham camp.

We have to step up tonight.

Carroll leaving can either have a negative or positive effect on the team

When Chris Hughton left we went out positive let's hope tonight it's the same

I had a dream about this last night...

We lost 4-2 and Ranger scored from the half way line. Out of all your predictions I'd like to think mine sounds most probable.

Sorry to be the bearer of bad news.

Wonder what JFK would have said to Carroll if he'd been in charge on Monday???

Carroll: "Give us more money man"

JFK: "What sort of amount are you after"

    Carroll: "80K I've been offered"

JFK:" 80K your avin a fakin lauff you lanky long haired cant, get back to training or I'll kick you in your other fakin thigh and put you out for the rest of the season you fick daft cant!!!"

Carroll - stands there with a confused look on his face "That's not what me agent said you'd say!!"

mate of mine a few years ago (a Reading supporter) came in and told me he'd dreamt that Birmingham were going to beat us 5-1

we had a laugh, checked the odds. 1000-1. didn't put any money on it. that night, Birmingham beat us 5-1. Gutted (in more than just one way!)

So I'll be putting on a cheeky fiver for Fulham 4 Newcastle 2, with Ranger to score at some point*

*note, i know it was just co-incidence, I don't believe in dream predictions, ghosts, fairies, god, or any of that garbage! :)
