If the boy cannot hold his tongue in interviews when he says something to the journalists possibly could he be respecting more of the club and the fans by stopping his flirt talk of Arsenal, Tottenham Hotspur, Chelsea and Liverpool. If this is agent talk then he should stop his agent from opening his mouth.

I agree Ak. Seems to be him AND his agent bigging him up.
In truth we will do well to satisfy his needs. I don't know what length of contract he is on - but once a player believes he can go on to better clubs then you have all but lost him. Hopefully he will remain totally committed to us till May. When we get there either the Pozzos will need to convince him that he is better here and playing regularly than moving to a top 4 club and maybe only making some appearances. I trust the Pozzos though to extract every ounce of value from him if he does move on.

A few years back this would never have been tolerated... Players are led to believe that they are bigger than their clubs... Especially players who come to us and are successful... They are keen to capitalise..

It's difficult to know what else he should reply to the media questions that is respectful.
It is the media that twist both his and Richarlison's words.

Agree with you Yorkie. It is part of the reason I dislike the Premiership and the money and lack of "identity" that now surrounds all but the fans.

Hardly a surprise is it really though - very few players show loyalty to the clubs that buy and give them a chance..

Is he even good enough for a top 6 team?

    I doubt he'd be a starter.
