Yes, quite a few of their guys have balanced views and see the error of LJ's ways.

I read that thread you refer to this week. Banksy has a real persecution complex and a distorted view of the truth. Wizred's management left a bit to be desired too.

    It was entertaining though.<ok>

I couldn't possibly comment on that aspect of it...........<whistle>

Had a number of PM's from good posters over there who didn't want to get publicly involved asking me to hang in there. In all honesty, a barrage of personal caveman posts is the last thing that puts me off - it works the other way and the guy got what he deserved.

The moderation thing can be difficult to handle though when your dealing with one of your own there's bound to be bias creeping in. The "intruder" is often cast as the bad guy.......so what, it's only a chat forum not WW 3 - life's far too short. <ok>

Reading the Bristol Post reports it’s difficult to comprehend how some journos are so one eyed and devoid of football knowledge.

Only one team wanted to play football. Why else did BC have 4 centre backs and their best attacking playmaker in deep midfield?

Johnson was hoisted by his own petard and ego by trying to outwink Warnock. Had he let his team off the leash then we’d have seen a different game and maybe a different result.

Again a telling substitution by NW to bring on KZ to run at their defence rather than pointless punts to an isolated Madine.

    Just by the way.

Didn't have a punt on City yesterday - only 23/20 was a bit too short for me in a game that could have gone any way of three. So went to the ground and saw the team. Madine was starting so I had a look - he was on @ 15/8 for an anytime score and stuck my £20 on him. <doh>

The players came out for the second half. No Madine and big Ken came on the pitch and I thought....:emoticon-0138-think:emoticon-0138-think I had a look but there were no odds on him to score for a while because B365 only quote in play for players actually on the pitch and it takes them a while to update for subs. Anyway, up it came - Big Ken was offered @ 9/2. Bugger it - 20 quid on him to replace my down-the-pan Madine punt............<whistle><whistle>

40 quid in total invested, 110 quid back. That made up for the Ipswich blank sheet - mine not City's. :emoticon-0105-wink:

If I was a Bristol city fan then I’d be disappointed and frankly dismayed by the managers tactics. By the very fact they’re in top 6 going into the run in shows they’ve performed well this season but their fans were given nothing to encourage them yesterday and that must be down to their manager.

Saying that though some credit must go to Cardiff’s manager for making his opposite number think hard about how to combat the opposition.
