It’s quite a rebuild to do at Arsenal
The lack of pace throughout the team is very evident and a new coach however good he is won’t be turning players like Mustafi or Xhaka into players who can get arsenal challenging again.
I think a defensive minded coach like Diego Simeone is what they need as they need to make themselves hard to beat first because they have a very soft underbelly which is very damaging
Ozil seems to bear the brunt of a lot of criticism but he needs willing runners around him to be seen at his best, without them he’s a passenger
Aubameyang won’t be effective unless there is pace and good delivery from out wide,he’s a 6 yard box player not a Vardy so feeding on scraps just isn’t the answer

Getting rid of Walcott Ox Giroud & Sanchez in such a short space of time with seemingly no back up plan should surely see the end of Wenger

The scientist part of me wants the Goons to get a manager
like David Moyes for a short while, if only to test the
"I will always support the manager" claim by Ty. :)

I don't think it will be that big a task following Wenger, it will be nothing like what it was like at Man Utd having to follow Sir Alex Ferguson.

SAF left Man Utd top of the table, with a squad of players that needed big reinvestments. The club had been penny pinching for years in the transfer market, and it was only SAFs brilliance that kept the team challenging. So when he left it was always likely the harsh reality that the squad was aging and lacking in talent would come to light.

Arsenal are in a different position now though, as Wenger has already taken them about as low as they can go. As ****e as they are they are still a lot stronger than the sides below them man for man, and that's why there is still a big gap from 6th to 7th.

So if a new manager comes in, he will have to do plenty of rebuilding, but I don't see a massive dip on your current form happening.

All this loyalty to Wenger from the board over the years does suprise me to be honest, anyone would think Arsenal where a small club that had won nothing prior to Wengers arrival. Let's not forget they won a couple of titles only a few years before his arrival, and where still one of the top sides in England when he arrived. The way people go on, you would think Wenger himself, done all the work in establishing Arsenal as a big club in English football.

I don't know how much of Aubamayang you have watched, but he's more than just a 6 yard box player.

His biggest strength is on the counter when he's got space to run into. I would even go as far as to say he is significantly faster than even Vardy.

I’ve seen plenty of him,he’s nothing like Vardy
Most of his goals are from inside the box

Most strikers goals are gonna come from inside the box, that's just the nature of football. Especially when your playing for one of the top sides in the Bundesliga, and you don't get the space in behind that often to take advantage.

I'm pretty sure the majority of Vardys goals this season have been first time finishes in the penalty area.

What I'm saying though is that Aubamayang aswell as being good in the penalty area is still very effective at getting in behind teams and super effective on the counter attack, as goals 8 and 9 demonstrate.

He can run from distance with the ball and score goals to, in the same way Vardy does. He isn't just an out and out 6 yard box predator.

Long shots are admittedly not his game, if that's the point you are trying to make though, but I'd hardly say Vardy is a specialist at that either, even though he's scored a few good ones.

No point being he needs service
He doesn’t create opportunities on his own like Kane Aguero Henry etc
    He’s a finisher

Former Arsenal striker Ian Wright says he "could not make a case" for Arsene Wenger to remain as manager beyond the end of this season.

Wright also accused some players of being "on easy street" and argued that owner Stan Kroenke "does not care".

Arsenal have lost six out of 12 games in 2018, the latest in the Carabao Cup final against Manchester City.

"There are excuses [from Wenger] and he is mollycoddling a team," Wright told BBC Radio 5 live.

"Whether he stays at the end of this season, I could not make a case. I am not sure anyone can. This development of mediocrity has to be arrested."

I didn't even try understanding him, mate, the bloke is just a massive prick that constantly makes himself more of a prick as every week passes.

Perfect reflection of a typical Arsenal fan.

I think that he said something about a Lexus, rather than Alexis.
All seemed to be about cars, for some reason.

Will there be any anger later or just resignation and repetition?
