It didn't interrupt the game but got the back page headlines in the following days News of the World which was the biggest selling newspaper of its day. Phil Pinder was Tigers 2000 as was the open top bus tour etc. The fact remains that is was Dave Dewberry and the original Action Group who approached Don Robinson, more so Dewberry. He made him aware that the club was worth buying.
