Well if they'd have thought big rather than small time in the first instance then we wouldn't be having this conversation. Unfortunately it seems too many are happy with bang on mediocrity or worse. If you don't like what I write then don't ****ing read it. It's fairly simple.
Loved that. Don't think anyone will be in danger walking past our family area. Or anywhere else for that matter.
Then step up to the plate oh great one instead of sat in the background sniping.. we can all sit and criticise .. that's the easy part.
Thanks. It's better to work en masse rather than in tiny splinter groups. If you can't recognise that, then the problem is all yours.
And what pray tell did you do to include yourself in theses masses .. Jack sh1t .. as per usual .. apart from sulk cos no one would discuss it in main here. If you were serious about the protests you'd have got off your arse and made a few subtle enquiries.
As it was so secret and such a minority protest all my people in the know like 95% of the crowd knew nothing. Like the East Stand, South Stand and West Stand.
That's the sort of ruthlessness we need... Spain: Catió Baldé, reacting to client Ruben Semedo’s third arrest in four months. Baldé says the Villarreal defender, who denies robbery, kidnap, possession of illegal weapons and attempted murder, is “a good boy, led astray by vultures … He’s the victim here.”
Lol all of your people .. really .. are you that diluded lmao. As I said if YOU were so set on being involved in the protests then YOU would have made subtle enquiries to find out more. But it's easier for the likes of you to sit on your backside and snipe unless they come to your door and give you instructions, take you by the hand, then walk you through it.
The Supporters trust, the action group, the protest group, the anti Allam group, the city til we die group, the north stand group, the anti Ehab group, the Bruce fan club and all the other little groups all need to band together and organise something proper. Inferno in the stands. Flares on the pitch. Balaclava wearing thugs with agrresive signs and body language. I'm not taking the piss because they tried but surely much bigger and better can and must be done.
I didn't seek out any details about the protests, nor did I particularly intend to join in. But a combination of Ehab's "intelligence" and following the two protest groups on Twitter, meant that without any real effort I knew broadly what was going to happen. GLP, if you were expecting a personal invitation then I think you misjudge how these events, led by a small brigade of volunteers, transpire.
I agree bigger should be done. Some people I used to attend with are not part of any group and they took part in the protests after someone messaged me on here with the details of the protests. It's hardly rocket science to get involved if you want too. This isn't me having a go at anyone, we all choose what we want to do in this life, but if you think the success of the protests is that vital to the future of our club surely you would do anything you could to find out about the protests?
It wasn’t a North Stand protest...I go in North and while I didn’t actually go to this game I had no idea what was planned or where to go to find out even I was going I wouldn’t criticise anyone who did protest but it needs to be much more open to get a good take up, and there was no need for secrecy either If balls on the pitch is our thing then fine. Tell everyone and make sure people can get their hands on your balls (so to speak!)
To be fair a lot of the noise pre match hinted at something secretive and different, so people didn’t maybe feel thatjohing in was an option to even find out about I don’t see why a message simply didn’t go out about balls, the club wouldn’t have been able to stop it whether they knew or not
Why do other clubs try to involve the majority of supporters then? Would a 95% participation in said protest have carried more weight? Yes or no.
I'm sure the answer is yes. I'm also sure that no clandestine protest has ever involved 95% of people in the ground.
Well, I have been going to City since '87. Many of my friends pre date that. Not ONE knew what was going on - I did ask around. To be honest I got bored of trying in the end - there's only so much you can do. It seems a small proportion of people involved knew what was happening. Well done to you for knowing someone who knew what was going on though. I thought it's so secretive there's obviously something massive planned.....
