What would you pick as your claim to fame?

Doesn’t need to be the most amazing thing you’ve done or your encounter with the most famous person you’ve met.

Just something you think is worth a mention.

I already know what @PISKIE will say - he snogged some munter indie singer when she was still contemplating the occasional shower.

Been in my local paper several times and made one national paper once, for work that I did with the NHS.

Been in a couple of surf mags.

Was also on the TV back in 91 at Highbury at HT forking over the pitch in front of 52,000 fans v Liverpool. I did two weeks work experience with Steve Braddock the old groundsman at Highbury.

Was also on the TV in the audience for Going Live on BBC saturday morning, when our school got invited along.

Also spotted myself in the crowd at West Ham on MOTD giving a ****er sign to Brian Mclair who shot over the bar. Proper close up in slow mo too :)

My favourite tv 'appearance' was during the 1981 Old Trafford 'Botham's' ashes test.

He hit a massive pulled six off Dennis Lillie right over my head and I can just be seen waving a union jack I'd borrowed from scouts.

Was a truly awesome century he scored that day, 118 if I recall correctly. Proper player that man.

Was on telly loads the other week during United v Stoke!

I had a piss next to soon to be prime minister Gordon Brown at Old Trafford once. Was the derby and we drew one one, Ruud scoring the equaliser.

I was steaming. I don't think he was mind, I wonder if he remembers it?

Prince Charles visited me at a foodie event to talk about my business and organic / sustainable food production. I'm no fan of the Royal Family, but Charlie has got his head screwed on when it comes to environmental matters.

One of my best scrapes with celebrity was being called a 'horrible young man' by Peter Purves.
He was on a canal boat on the caledonian canal at the tip of Loch Ness and I shouted 'look, it's Peter Pervert' at him.

I was on a scouts holiday.

And THAT is why he is my favourite Peter.

    True story, like.

I had a piss next to Chris Eubank when he was in his prime.

Obviously had a look at what he had. I chuckled and walked out the toilet. Was defo smaller than mine. Probably why he was wearing a monacle to help him find his lil fella.

That same day I also met the fit Lucy from neighbours. I was about 17 at the time. So a long time ago.

Who's that fella ? I've got a few mates and 'mates of mates' in the music industry. Mainly in the Broken beat / New Jazz scene. Mate of mine is called Darren Benjamin AKA Daz-I-Kue. Big producer, writer, artist in that scene.

Been lucky enough to meet lots of interesting people professionally but being a United fan my fave meeting was a random encounter with Sir Bobby Charlton at Heathrow. He was a miserable git but I forgave him.

He always comes across as a right moody ****. A proper mood hoover. Maybe the Munich air crash made him that way, I don't know. But he seems like a pretty depressing person to be around.

That is actually the case from what I’m told. He suffers from survivor guilt. His mates died, he didn’t, then he went on to win everything. Probably quite hard to process unless you’re a self centred ****.

Yep, I get it. Not personally, but a mate of mine who was in the first gulf war has suffered with PTSD and survivor guilt. His mates were killed by 'friendly fire', he survived, they got ripped apart by gunfire from a US helicopter.

Long time ago now, but I met and played with quite a few well know names in my days as a pro musician. I suppose a memory that sticks out is an impromptu late night jam session at Eel Pie Island.

God know how many ended up on stage in the end, but they included Clapton, Beck, Page. Paul Rodgers...it just went on and on...all old blues stuff.
