Errrr...... you forgot to mention Aurier I think??? And it was 3 penalties that we should have had: Davies first half, Kane & Dele second half. Have no doubt that Dele didn’t get the decision because of his growing reputation and he was lucky not to get a card for his theatrics over the keeper late on.
The Buses are a matter of fact...it's not an excuse for the players though. However the Buses find us out because the players can't seem to get through.
Today was proper AVB 2013-14. Contrast with Chelsky at Wembley, where their parked bus was under relentless fast pressure for a good half of the game.
I either missed the Kane one or wiped it from my memory, unless we're talking about the offside one? Might as well throw in Kane's winner as Delaney was pulling his shirt too, haha.
Nah there was another one in the 2nd half. But as memorable moments go in a game as bad as that, it was certainly a moment
There's a fault with that video. Suggests we scored from an Eriksen corner. No chance. Also tells me the French don't have a way of saying goal machine in their own language. And that sucky went for a piss 3 minutes from the end.
Bloody hell, yet again Spurs put us through the wringer. The air was blue in our house, if there was a swear box me and the mrs would have enough to go to the Bahamas this year. We miss so many chances these days. Our form has been excellent recently but we should have scored at least 16 in the last four games. An absolutely crucial 3 points and we totally deserved the win. I found it funny that the commentator said he felt sorry for Palace that they couldnt hang on. They totally got what they deserved - Zilch, no ambition to go forward and try and win the game and they spent all game time wasting. I know they are inferior technically to us but a relegation threatened team has to have a go at least. Most of our players were poor today, especially our attackers but i though Dier was superb in defence and marshalled the back four admirably. Sanchez is such an athelete and is a world class defender in the making once he improves his passing and composure on the ball. Aurier - 3 foul throws !! thats school boy stuff mate. Sort it out . (credit for that wonderful tackle in our box though) Hopefully it will be a draw at Old Trafford and City blow Arsenal away at Wembley.
Bloody hell, any one got a razor blade. This is a thread of 15 remembercolinlee's, one is enough surely. That's what Mrs remember and the kids say. Awful game, fantastic 3 points.
If you watch very carefully, you can see the exact moment it dawns on Roy Hodgson why everyone slagged him off for putting him on corner-taking duty.
Back from the game and just about thawed out. Holy ****. That was a close one. The first rule of sitting with the away fans? Don't show out by celebrating a 'last minute winner'. Well, that wasn't easy, I can tell you. Just as well that our boys in the opposite stand mostly covered my strangled celebrations, just. A few people worked it out but I was in with the courtesy tickets and up and gone pretty soon after. I think a number of people saw me sneaking out. Pretty dreadful performance. Lots of the ball but very few real chances and a lot of players looked like they were saving themselves for something else. There are no bigger games than the next one. Apart from Davinson Sanchez and Ben Davies, I can't think of anyone that played well. Aurier, who has been dogshit for a while, bettered that today, by being dogshit coated in cat ****. Games against Palace are a ****ing nightmare. They see it as a London derby and are a 'West Ham type' irritant. Fortunately, one that we seem to win 1 -0 every time. I think that's the last 4 PL games and something like 6 in 8 have had theat result? As I have lots of Palace supporting friends, a 4-0 or something comfortable wouldn't go amiss, boys. Biiiiiiiig 3 points and now onto the Cup. COYS.
Interesting Stats Only Darren Anderton (67) has provided more assists for Spurs in the Premier League than Eriksen (45), who is now joint second alongside Aaron Lennon. Spurs are now unbeaten in their past 15 games in all competitions, their longest run since going 16 without defeat between December 1998 and March 1999. Kane scored the 150th goal of his club career in all competitions, with 134 of those coming as a Spurs player. Spurs have conceded just one goal in their past six games against the Eagles in the Premier League, winning all six meetings. In fact, Spurs have won three consecutive away league games against Palace for the first time in their history.
