I demand the Mods ban anyone talking sensibly about football on this forum. It is a forum for the "fan" and therefore intelligent argument can't be acceptable. We must only allow blinkered, blind support of an individual's chosen team, otherwise we would all just support whichever team was performing the best and appreciate their skill in buying players for crazy money to make an average team world class to attract new fans, and that would never do!

the reality after fact checking this


56 points for top is only sufficent in the worst year in last 6 years where nobody played well but leicester who won with only 81 points.

in fact every other year you would be 4-8 points off top.

this is a pure psychological position put forward to make utd fans feel better cos it hurts seeing city so much better than them.

 

Did you not read my post immediately above yours. Your post is the type of common sense post this board can do without, and I am sure all Utd fans will support me in this stance. What the board requires is wildly inaccurate, drunken rants, proclaiming everyone else's team are only doing well because "insert team of choice" are having an off season, and as soon as said team have paid off their current manager and spent another £800m then they will be back on top, where they belong, based purely on bringing players through the ranks.

No chance of any joy here, a red card for Kane is is about our only hope

Draw- Most people's choice as both team drop two points
Chavs win- Always nice to see manu get beat but chelsea cut the gap to one point
Manu win - They go back above us but we then have a four point gap.

leaving aside the draw and the obvious hope for a mass brawl with loads of red cards, is it better to have both teams one point behind us or have a four point lead over the Chavs?

i can't get past really really wanting a draw after that i just can't decide so i'm going with the theory there are upsides whichever it is.

Palace managed a draw with City not so long ago, so there's always a slim chance.

The rest is a headfuck so I'll just wait and see. There's some advantage to us no matter what happens.

Bearing in mind that both are dangers to our position, it is a no brainer. A draw all day long. If not a draw, then a mancs win preferable (yes, I know we never want them to win!) even paradoxically that will make them jump over us. But more importantly gets some daylight between us and Chelsea. A Chelsea win brings them right back in the mix for top 4.

Yes, a 2nd place would be nice but for me that will never take priority over finishing 3rd or 4th. The more distance between us and the 5th place the better.

clearly refs seen spurs floppers and has taken the view it needs to be stonewall before he is giving.

Sky or any other media organization never take into account the ref sees these things in real time and add in they know spurs players dive.

Does the ref see multiple replays and slow motion replays of these incidents like the media do!

Yes the ref will make mistakes, but the way pundits and commentators go on is a joke.
