DF send to the stands in the 96th minute?! How stupid is that! He wont be able to drastically influence games now from the side-lines if he gets a ban! What a miss that would be!

You know absolutely nothing about what actually happened, you just like to spout off. I was going to copy and paste DF's version of what happened, but you've pissed me off now so go find it yourself! <doh>

Match stats procession NCFC 75% shots 15 on target 3 Bolton 25% shots 7 on target 0. Was this another parked the ‘bus scenario’ again? As somebody on Canary Call said Oliveria is not a natural goal scorer?

I hardly think that kicking a ball away will lead to a ban. It's strange that when we do well the players are all wonderful, but when we don't, it's all the manager's fault. At the end of the first half, Cromer said that our domination would surely produce a win. In the second half the same players tried hard without success. IMO, that's hardly the manager's fault. We need to finish the restructuring and prepare for a push for promotion next year.

Bolton pushed up and defended higher up the pitch to (successfully) prevent Leitner and Maddison having the pockets of space to weave their first half magic. It's the manager's fault for not recognising this - and taking steps to counter it. <ok>

He's not a manager he's a head coach and the players are a product of his coaching, so yes he has responsibility, but so do the players. He sorted out the defence and midfield he now needs to work on the attack, I fear it will take another transfer window to sort that out. Oliveira & Murphy in particular are failing short and someone else needs to be given a chance.

It was stupid for a ref to send a manager to the stands in the 96th minute of a game.

You really are unbelievable sometimes Dave.

    Let me explain myself.

We are all allowed to be pissed off that we dominate a game but fail to score, any fan would be disappointed at that. What we don't need are childish remarks about the coaching staff, I can assure you, they don't instruct strikers to deliberately miss gilt-edged chances, all the foot-stamping temper tantrums in the world won't change that.

If you can't see the marked improvement in our defence then you're looking at the wrong games. We are a work in progress, and a hell of a lot of progress has been made, be patient for the rest that will follow!

so didn't see tonights game but, we failed to score at home against poor opposition. That hardly constitutes a first, last week vs the binners, second half so did we dominate? yup, but did we create? do we ever create great chances? good even? no, it' all 20yrd plus pot shots. The system is bollock, that rests with the manager. OK , we keep clean sheets, we don' concede many, but it's so negative, it' so slow, it' starting to look like we really are totally reliant on moments of brilliance from 25 yards. We will be firmly in the also ran category next season too, if Farke continues to show no understanding of how to attack in the championship.

but oh, we got the post, we had more chances blah blah, how many times are we going to fall short and be toothless?

    Bah!

Unfortunately it appears that, at home at least, we have stalled, China, so hardly in progress.

Another few points should ensure we avoid relegation! <doh>

Of course it's a work in progress. Some of these guys have been here such a short while, and seem to be buying in to what we are asking. 75% possession would suggest we were in control, but yes, there is still work to be done up front.

It was never going to happen this year, but the signs are good for next year. That's my take on it anyway.

You guys are way to negative. First half we played really well. It was exciting. Technically very good. Created some great chances.

I was busy all afternoon yesterday, so only now able to comment.
Firstly, I wasn't at the match yesterday, so can't really say whether we played well or not, bit one of MB's comments during the first half was that Bolton had 'the handbrake on the bus'. Wigan did it against Citeh in the cup with all their firepower, so we shouldn't feel to despondent, but 4 points from a possible 12 has derailed any lingering hopes of a play-off place IMO
My main concern (apart from lot inability to score goals) is how late DF waits before making substitutions.
