I 100% realised, silly ****, Why do you think I replied? But don’t try and deflect from you only criticising fans for being divisive and superior, in your eyes, when it’s not something that fits with your own stance.

Cue the ‘i was only joking’ stock response.

But I tell you what would be interesting to know - how much you have personally put into the Allams hands since the summer of 13 vs how many posts you’ve made since then calling them nasty names. But you’ll never tell us, cos you’re ****ing embarrassed by your own actions.

It's nothing to do with microphone placement and everything to do with levels on the mixer in the studio/van/whatever the **** they use.

Whilst the United fans were singing "What the ****ing hell is that" the North was singing City Till We Die but you hear nothing of it on the Sky clip. I couldn't hear the United fans sing anything whilst we were singing as the balls went on the pitch.

I was going to say the same.I don't know why Sky don't like protest, I think they add to the atmosphere and add interest. I suppose it will lead to our games getting less coverage until we sort this our **** out.

Well, if you wanted to figure that out, it's easy enough to flick through his post history and count them, get the prices for each season and analyse the data. Get on with it.

    He was only joking anyway.

I wasn’t joking, everyone’s entitled to their own opinion on how best to deal with the current malaise at the club, it’s just the preaching that I find rather twattish.

    I’m embarrassed about nothing.

I didn't mention placement. They just muted or turned off the microphones for the City fans for the beginning of the protest. Unless you they think they manually moved the faders up and down. The end result is the Sheffield microphones were on and ours were off.

Probably because they would expect people protesting to use some naughty words, quite like the boycotting ex-fans on here .

They failed then, all they got was "what the ****ing hell is that" instead of "City till I die" :)

I understand why people protest, and I've no problem with it, but what I'm not clear of in my mind is the logic of it.

I know this sounds negative but if the suggestion that the Allams are selling the family silver before they go, I can't see this affecting that too much. It just seems as though it'll make the club less attractive to a buyer, and the Allams will leave when they're ready anyway.

To my mind, effort should be put into helping market the club as a viable option for anyone mad enough to want to own a football club.

My opinion is protests are nothing to do with getting them to leave now
I’m sure they’ll be here until the golden goose stops laying
I think protests now are about trying to force the owners to do the practical stuff on the use of the name and concessions

May be unsuccessful of course, but I’m certain that protests make those things more likely even if it’s only slightly

And even if it’s unsuccessful, if it manages to piss them off or embarrass them then it’s worth it regardless IMHO

You're probably right. It'd maybe be useful to get some chants and flags that reflect that, as they're mainly Allam Out.

It’s hard enough to City fans to sing anything! I know what you mean but you can’t get rid of the only chant everyone remembers!

Anyway the City till I die chant at 1904 covers one aim (although admittedly that’s followed by a bit of Allam Out for the hell of it)...and the only thing that rhymes with concessions is John Sessions and it’s tricky to weave the comedian and actor’s name into a protest chant!

There's scope their for some Gary Glitter songs, or Clive Dunn for the pensioners, and St Winifreds School Choir for a double hit.

There are loads of words that rhyme withn concessions. Fitting them into a song is a different matter though.

I detest what they've done to OUR club but the Allams WON'T drive me away, not a chance. I fully respect those that boycott, and for those that object to this, I care not a jot. I still get my football fix when City don't play, which is why in the last couple of seasons I've seen fifteen League one and Two matches, all at different grounds. Last Saturday I watched Scunthorpe v Northampton, and when the next international breaks come I'll be on my travels again.
