It was very even before that goal, typical, but there you go. Would be nice if you could try to be more positive and supportive when the **** hits the fan, but there you go.
All these highly paid professionals A youngster comes on and shows them how to look interested in a game
Sims for JWP is the sub i would have made prior to the goal. think Prowse might have been more effective with burnley sitting off a bit more though. weve certainly had more free kicks and corners lol
Just when you needed JWP... terrible free kick... The game is so boring even the home fans are subdued.
We are an utter disgrace. I want Pellegrino fired as much as everyone else but the individual performances have been woeful. Half hearted counter attacks, piss poor passing and no heart at all. Can someone also tell Stephens he doesn't have to smash the ball up field every damn time he gets posession
This is ****ing dire! If he keeps his job, after this, there is something seriously wrong, at this football club!!!!
Sounds like it's been the same as most of the season. I know we all showed a bit of optimism but I think deep down we all knew a one nil home win was the most likely outcome here*. *half hearted reverse jinx attempt.
The most worrying thing is it kinda feels as though all the Saints players (with the exception of Sims and maybe Boufal) are looking around and expecting someone else to do something.
I'd be amazed if he lost his job after this. We've had much more likely occasions to sack him. However, if we lose again next week at home to Stoke, then absolutely no way can keeping him be justified. (Albeit it probably wouldn't make any difference, because I couldn't see how we stay up if we lose this and at home to Stoke.)
