The match is very short on quality so far..

 

Pitch looks a bit hard and bobbly

 

he also created our best chance

 

He has also lost or misplaced the ball some 3 times when we have been going forward and overhit one cross that if he looked up would have been a better chance.

 

We are crying out for someone to put their foot on the ball and take control. Lemina and Romeu seem to be too deep, so when we do get the ball forward there is no link up from midfield

 

Agreed. Scared of leaking a goal?

 

This is all very... subdued is the word I suppose.

 

Tadic should've played in Redmond there...

 

So has everyone today. he's not played any worse than anyone else.

True enough VM. But he has been poor for a long time and, for me, Gabbi and Boufal are above him.

 

Gabbi isn't a natural winger and Boufal is coming back from an injury. Sims would have been the better option.

 

For everyone, surely. (Well, apart from maybe one.)

 

They look more dangerous going foward: if we could string something together we might get a point or more from this.

 

Yeah, if Boufal wasn't coming back from an injury I imagine he would start ahead of Redmond. Pellegrino doesn't seem to want to use Gabbiadini in any position except striker and if Long is injured he doesn't really have any option but to keep him on the bench.

 

And we seem to be second to every 50/50 ball.

 

0-0 at HT. Who would have predicted that?

 

Maybe Bournemouth aren't as safe as we think they are!
