There's a lot of Trump baiting for sure and some contradictory stuff but I really like it. I don't try to overthink his stuff or most music tbh.
Lets call it just a change of direction. I like the track with Alicia Keys. I know, I know.... my bad
I like alcia keys, actually has some talent, just don't belong anywhere near an eminem album for me. @brb ed sheeran is a massive copier of great songs, small tweaks here and there but you can usually hear an old classic in his stuff, so I agree, although he's quite a likeable chap so.
It isn't music, it's just fashion. Style over substance. The music is just the backdrop. It's the modern world of social media - everyone wants to be seen as being part of some big club. And you get liked for it. Pretending to like sh*** like Ariana Grande is what you have to do.
Been the case for many years but it's definitely gotten worse since the myspace and the facebooks popped up in the 2000's. I had a mate once tell me he liked the bands I was in to but that he couldn't listen to them because all his mates liked pop/indie radio bands
I thought today's music was good. In between the kids watching films I played Fleetwood Mac, Kate Bush, Massive Attack, The Verve and The Smiths. All good.
