You keep handing your money over to someone who wants to change the club name and doesn’t follow rules of concessions.
How many times have clubs suffered points deductions is more the point. Some people are unnecessarily worried about these things.
Just watched the game from last night again. After about 5 minutes Dio gets clattered and is contemplating staying down. Larsson comes over and says whatever the Swedish os for 'get the **** up' and he does...
A hell of a lot of people really complained when we got Larsson, but he was 100% the best signing of the summer.
Recorded the game and watched it along with that interview this morning. Talk about reverse psychology, bullshitting prat if you ask me cos although we made them look ordinary last night,I doubt they will be far off the play offs come April in this pizz poor league.
I’ll take your word for it, I’ve been boycotting & have not seen enough games to form a valid opinion.
Agree. God knows we need some positivity. However, his mistake was in adding this bit .... "everything will get sorted out" (or whatever the exact words were). It won't and he should know it won't. He'd be better just being positive about the footballing side of things and side-stepping the other stuff. I don't expect Enob to make the changes we are looking for on Monday. I expect him either to walk out again or else to bring to the table and into play his (not so well veiled) threats. I 100% support the protests, fans can't just sit back and get butt-****ed over and over again. So, whatever he now does then bring it on, he is likely signing his death warrant (not literally although I wouldn't mind one bit, he can die when he wants).
I agree. In the end the manager is always the easy scapegoat. This isn't even largely his own team anyway, it's what he's inherited. Yes he knew what he was letting himself in for but he was also willing to take on the challenge of a team in disarray. And he's here till the end of the season at least, so may as well get behind him. Slutsky was just as positive anyway, I still don't know why some want him back.
Wasn’t there Looked like there was more balls thrown on than last time? Good match stoppage, in a simple way that avoids individuals getting banged up or banned (maybe...) and got the media talking about it, and surely that is needed because the Allams only seem to care about being embarrassed publicly Fair play to the lads that went on after with the Allam Out banner. Simple and yet it gives the media a picture to use for their headlines, which looked good on Sky’s tweet Only thing I would say is that if protesters really want others to join in on ball throwing continually then the balls needed to be handed out more openly. A big bucketful in pubs before games for people to help themselves would be ideal I’d think Stop every home game at 19.04. Then Nige can change his training to suit that and it will be even better for our points tally too (surely recent stats show protesting helps results?)
Protest is fine. No problems there. Just hope it doesn't back fire with the suits cozying up to the Alarms and giving us a points deduction, which the Alarms would love and use to beat the fans around the head.
I don’t think the relationship between the owners and the ‘suits’ is cozy at all To be honest I suspect that while they can’t say it lots of people in influential roles quite like a good protest because it shows people are still passionate about their ‘product’
You make a fair point Dennis. But relationships can change. I wouldn't put it passed the Alarms to go to the FL and protest themselves and demand a points deduction to punish the fans. Crazy as it may seem I think they're more than capable of doing it.
Just mentioned by Mike xxx on Breakfast TV. Gave an explanation of why. It did state 'items' were thrown onto the pitch rather than sponge balls. I had tickets for Hull truck prior to the game getting switched, so didn't go despite having a pass. I've too much apathy to be bothered about protesting these days. Well done to all involved. it has created publicity re the Allams being ****s and I am sure will make them squirm. Well done to all involved. it has created negative publicity re the Allams and I am sure will make them squirm. I cant believe those who have chosen to boycott criticizing those who have stayed and protested. Most respect and understand your decision to boycott, but don't judge those who have stayed. His policy all along has been to divide and rule. We lost most of the No voters (and probably most radical) then. some boycotting, others just pissed with it all. We should be applauding those who care enough to still be there and protesting. Of course they are going to be small scale, that's because of the crowds almost halving and the general apathy the ****s have created.
Before the Match , people were saying some things are bigger then 3 points , who cares about points , all said when we thought we wouldn't win the match , now we did win the match it's all , oh well it got the point across and didn't interrupt our win etc , just like after we beat Forest and the instant anger from the meeting subdued , football fans are fickle but we really take it a new level , I was pleased with the win but I left the ground feeling a bit deflated . And before anybody asks, I didn't start a protest myself , but I also wasn't posting statements about wait and see what I have planned tomorrow night .
If the club were to receive a fine for 'not controlling their fans', there would be a suitable irony there
Possibly although I do think they’d rather stay up, as long as they don’t have to spend more than the absolute minimum
I think people boycotting will cease passing judgement on those who go when those who go cease passing judgment on those who boycott
