Can't see any reason why someone wouldn't take a punt on you guys. Solid fans and stadium, going cheap albeit with debt. Isn't your academy pretty decent at the moment too?

Agreed, they're a bigger club of course but as I pointed out on their board recently there's actually a few similarities to us, particuarly if they're in league one come the Summer. Big fanbase for the division, decent new stadium, academy etc. Everything is there for someone to make an investment to get them back up just like us.
No don't get too excited until anything it happens... likely to drag out for a while. I sometimes wonder if you might be better off writing this season off, putting the club in admin now and taking the ten point hit. Sell off the assets you've got to repay the debt and build again in the Summer.
Cheers pal. Yeh we've got a decent academy but thats not where the value in the company lies. The debts the worry. Thats what could put off potential suitors. We need someone who'll see the bigger and the longer term picture. The north east needs both clubs doing well. The fan base is massive and loyal. Its just not so easy to translate that onto the Balance Sheet.
I think thats our best option at the minute mate but @Brian Storm would give you a better perspective on that than me.
In a bizarre way you might not actually have been in such a mess had you gone down a couple of years before you did... as weird it as it sounds.
