Whether a yellow or a red is debateable, but surely it's obvious that some punishment is warranted? What, other than the subsequent distraction, would prevent the ref from acting on what he just saw?

Now you really are extracting the urine, suggesting Firmino dived,<laugh>

Firmino had made a mug out of him in one of our previous attacks a few minutes earlier and young Holgate got the hump and let his anger get the better of him.

Some refs are blatantly incompetent, you see every week challenges deserving of cards that aren't given. A lot of refs are more lenient with cards in local derbies especially.

Out of interest as I can't remember was a free kick given or the throw?

But there was overwhelming evidence - that Bobby never said any such thing. Your inference otherwise (and that's what it is) is that Bobby hasn't proved his innocence. That may well be what the FA would like, but it takes away the natural justice of a presumption of innocence and, despite what some people (even in the FA) think, a person charged with an offence even in a workplace tribunal, never mind a criminal court, has the right of presumption of innocence. It's called ei incumbit probatio qui dicit, non qui negat.

FFS, the presumption of innocence applies (or should) in civil courts and quasi civil courts such as workplace tribunals. the fact the FA never seems to apply is more down to their overwhelming power.

So why did you say he wasn't aware that the push would send him flying?

The second one was pretty forceful when moving/slowing down like that and he knew what he was doing imo.

Then someone should have presented this to the FA, it would have saved a lot of time.

You mean someone capable of backing up their assertions with evidence? Maybe, but I certainly wasn't thinking of you.

Impossible to say... watching a video doesn't normally do these things justice and momentum can carry you a long way.

Then make sweeping assertions based upon absolutely no evidence.
