QPR set to win race for Wright-Phillips

Shaun Wright-Phillips is on the verge of a move to QPR, talkSPORT understands.

The winger has been frozen out at Manchester City by boss Roberto Mancini and did not even make the bench for their opening two Premier League games.

Bolton, Stoke and Wigan have all registered an interest in the 29-year-old, who has a year left on his contract at the Etihad Stadium.

But the ex-Chelsea man is believed to favour a return to London and has held positive talks with Neil Warnock over a move to Loftus Road.

Warnock hopes to wrap up a deal for the England international before this weekend's trip to Wigan and is also close to landing Joey Barton on a free transfer from Newcastle.

You've gotten hold of the wrong end of the stick there I'm afraid. This thread actually relates to the Special Working Party looking into Safer Working Practices for the South Wales Police when loading Standing Water Pipes onto Shrink Wrapped Pallets.... Easy mistake to make though. :police:

I can't understand why so many feel that this would be such a good signing. He failed at Chelsea and Man City. He might have pace but is brainless.

You're probably right mate, but I'm a bit clingy and ready to let go of Gorkssy just yet. Time is the great healer so I'm told...

Ha ha SB, is this the player?

    www.qpr.co.uk/page/MatchReport/0,,10373~25668,00.html

I think this is the game in which his dad had a bit of an altercation with some rather rude R's fans.
