The level of fopping around shown by city last night (second half in particular) and Barca tonight is really really embarrassing

    difficult for chelsea now.

the issue with these tactics... just like rafa for us is one goal and you are in trouble.

you have to feel that chelsea.need to win this one now and tine is nearly gone.

they will have to try something else at nou camp

Well there's not many choices really...
Game gets stopped whilst the blood is mopped up.
Game continues but have rolling subs for blood injuries.
Other team has the equivalent number of players removed to keep it equal.
Middle one makes the most sense, but like you say, could be exploited like in the rugby

He has been good for Barca this season, fitted in pretty much from the off. Scored a few, assisted a few. Doesn't look like the same player
that Spurs had. Gives a physical option in midfield.

they are speaking to their audience.

they usually forget on CL nights that at least 50% of viewers are from rival clubs hoping that club loses. Its fly the flag stuff all the time.

Martin Tyler used to have his cock out when commentating on your Yurrropean nights.

It’s standard for our media to be openly biased on those games tbf, it’d come across wrong if they did the PL neutral stance. Albeit I take your point mate.

Cracking game last night, a proper game of togger that, tactically and technically fascinating. Shame Chelsea gifted them a soft chance for the equaliser though.

Usually yes but there comes a time where they just ignore the large amount of fans who are actually annoyed by ball licking for say a LFC player.

There's prob 30% of viewers on any given night actually interested in more than the complete bias and oh messi's never scored v Chelsea aint Chelsea great line.

Three if you include Firmino being cleared of racial abuse

The statements from the FA and Everton are disgusting.

7 weeks of investigation by the FA, 12 players and officials interviewed without a single person backing up Holgate, and all they have to say is "Having considered all of the available evidence, we consider it is not sufficient to raise a charge against Firmino."

After trying as hard as possible to suggest Firmino may have been guilty anyway but there just wasn't enough evidence, they somehow know Holgate's personal thoughts well enough to refute him playing the race card in the strongest possible terms:

"However, we are completely satisfied that the allegation was made in absolute good faith by Holgate and that there is no suggestion of this being an intentionally false or malicious allegation."

A really strange outcome. Basically saying that they believe that he thought he heard it after stating that there was zero evidence that anything was said! <yikes>

Just caught the last few minutes of the half. Sevilla are unfortunate to not be ahead.

De Gea must be the best shot stopper in the world right now

He's been their best player for a few years now. They'll be cr*pping themselves if Real take an interest....although I've been told that it's unlikely.

If Seville could finish they would be several goals up in this game, Manu's tactics have been shyte yet again but you can still see them somehow coming out of this on top and the usual bellends defending mourinho tactics.
