Lukaku has said AVB intends to play 4-3-3 this season. Do you think we should try something different this season. I personally hate this formation, teams have clued on to us playing this way. Id like to see a 4-4-1-1 or 4-5-1 and use the wings! After watching pre-season I thought we were looking great but 2 games in we are shocking! We're slow to counter, we flap about in the middle of the park, Florent seems to still carry some grudge against torres and never passes to him, kalou cant play for sh*t! What will these new signings bring to us? Can they add another dimension to our play? Have the ''oldies'' finally passed it - drogs, florent, nico, lamps etc? Thoughts??
I honestly think 4-5-1 would be perfect mate, cech,bosingwa,terry,alex/luiz,a.cole, mikel dm, lamps,modric,malouda, mata in the attacking role, drogba and torres up front or 2 of drogba/torres/lukaku/sturridge. i'd personally like to see a 4-2-4 lol ( would never happen ) but imagine having sturridge lukaku torres and drogba all up front in the same game LOL
well put mate - Nando still cuts a desolute figure inspite of all his toils. Kalou has not got a clue - still he starts and Danny wasn't even in the team!? Sort it out AVB!
Danny is suspended ATM!! How many more times?!? The formation is fine we just need a bit more pace and guile. The likes of Mata and Sturridge will help this I think (as would Modric but I cant see that happening).
Nah the 4-3-3 formation sucks and should we get modric whats the likely midfield??? Go on Mikels current form he has to be in the starting 11 and Ramiers has to play too he has such an engine in him. Then theres Lamps a 20+ goals midfielder, mata to add some width and pace. Personally I'd like Cech Boswinga***Ivanovic***Terry***Cole ***Mikel*** Sturridge***Lampard***Modric***Mata ***Torres***
So 433 then!?!?! Sturride and Mata will be wide in both formations and both contain 3 central mids with 1 holding. Cant see the difference really.
