So are you saying a human being isn't capable of working out how other human beings work or think based on actions they have took previously in their life?

You dont need to be Mystic Meg to work out Llambias and Ashley 'vision' for NUFC....................if anything, just look back at some of the quotes they've made about it if nothing else.

    Open ur eyes chief please.

People change. See Barton as an example or do his past actions as a thug still define him as a thug to this day?

I look at Barton over the past year and yes he has changed.

I look at Llambias and Ash continuing to treat fans with contempt and they have clearly not changed.

Do NUFC fans enjoy being lied to? and patronised? and being fed tripe? and being lead up the garden path? Or am I and a few others on here the only ones who don't?/the only ones that can see it? (probably the latter)

Being lied to, patronised and fed tripe is a common factor of life.

See successive past government for multiple examples. See almost every advert on TV for more.

Most of us are smart enough to see through the miasma of untruths thrown at us from all angles. You are not a savant in that respect.

Please feel free to show any direct quotes from Ashley. People can make assumptions on other peoples thoughts but they cannot see "through their eyes" and to quote a great man "assumption is the mother of all cock ups"

If you can see everything through their eyes then why are you surprised they are "treating the fans with contempt"....? They're businessmen so they are treating the fans as paying customers, which technically we are. Not saying that's the most respectful way to treat fans but it is how they evidently are.

Im not surprised. Thats why I dont like the clowns. They dont think they are doing anything wrong. Its in their nature to treat us as customers. No respect for fans. I dont have much respect for them. Its a 2 way thing.

You don't have to like a person to appreciate the positives in what they do. Ashley's a scrotum but financially our club is beginning to look pretty strong. If we can maintain decent finishes over the next few seasons (6th-12th) then we should be looking pretty tasty.

Say what you like but Hitler made the trains run on time. <ok>

Of course it's in their nature, we're agreed on that point. And yeah, the respect aspect works in that sense as well.... BUT having said that I can respect him for plowing millions upon millions of pounds into the club to keep it afloat. At least there is still a NUFC for us all to support!

There was a piece written by a journalist the other day (I think it was Simon Bird off the top of my head) that was saying you can look at a football club in 2 main ways. The first being from an accounting/business perspective and the other being from a historical/heritage perspective and this is the main fundamental area where the owners and the fans will clash.

Who have massively overspent in the transfer market just to appease the restless fans? They've gone too far in the opposite of MA's tactic.

No what I mean was, which was a response to the original quote. Their owners are running the club as a business and have respect for fans and a desire for the team at the same time.

If I bought NUFC tomorrow. Id run the club on both levels. Its not hard. Really isnt.

But yet our fans can't seem to do the same (the majority anyway from what I've seen) and it's constantly "Ashley Out", "Cockney Mafia", "Fat ****" etc 'cos the fans focus entirely on the heritage aspect of the club and see us selling players as a catastrophe and a personal insult when pretty much every outgoing transfer over the last 2 seasons makes BUSINESS/ACCOUNTING sense.

I guess it boils down to the question, Does the owner of a football club have an unwritten obligation to please the fans or is that down to the manager and the team?

But it really is! So would you have given Carroll and Nolan and Enrique and Barton extended contracts that they wanted?

And then would you have then given contracts like that to everyone else who came asking for one?

And then with all this extra money going on wages etc how would you have funded the running of the club within the UEFA guidelines?
